The other day I was talking to my dear friend Sammie about gardening and her wonderful garden that often gets the visits of foxes, which I absolutely love. I have been working on a tutorial site for some of the participants of a virtual conference session, those amongst them who are new to online 3D worlds:

The idea is to do it mostly with screenshots, onto which I have added numerical legends and arrows to show how things flow on the menus. So, hopefully it should only take a few hours to run through the basics of the interface, and also like a quick reference guide for when they are actually online.
Although the examples and locations used are all at NGrid, where the event will be held, I am hoping that novices at other grids can also get usage out of this.

I have always been in love with light.
It magically can make the same picture look happy, dull, somber or electric. When PBR got to SL the possibilities became endless to me, but I did panic though. My laptop was in no way enduring Firestorm so I had to switch to Alchemy, saying goodbye to some of my preferred features like area search.
But, gosh, did I get so much more in return! Just take a second (or two!) to look at Salt's work of art on latex, Cat. The way the light falls on the flawless PBR textures of the overall, mask, boots, bento tail, gloves and claws is just insanely beautiful.
I dare you: take some time to play with PBR. No need to do something fancy. Just a nice PBR texture around you, add a reflection probe (or three!) and move them around you. Test some windlights for your environment too, they can totally change the game - every purchase from Salt & Pepper now includes 3 free neutral PBR windlight/ eep.

Sometimes things fall into place quite easily in my mind.
After a very heavy RL day at work, I needed serenity amongst nature. and I knew exactly where to go. I put on my new dress, an absolute beauty that Annie Melson created for us, grabbed my hat and headed over to Soul Deep, a place that my dear friend Sammie introduced me to a while back.
There are so many details to explore there, you can feel the love that was poured into creating this wonderful place in every tree, every plant, every chirping bird.

There's a ton of goodness in this picture, pretty much all released at Velvet Bohème. I fell in love with Not Found Maple skin that I am wearing, especially the freckles version, and I think I will be wearing this for a while. I am also in love with my Tiriel tattoo from Noya, part of their collaboration with high v. for this boho chic fest. LODE, of course, never disappoints, and their Wildflower hair accessory is just perfection.
My outfit is from Fashionably Dead, called Ecletic Boho Set, and I am wearing the Celestial Cord Shorts & Western Cap Tee, but the set includes a gorgeous retro crochet cardi you will not want to miss.
The Azoury Bohelys sandals are stunning and I paired them with Meva leg bands and loved how they looked combined.
No wonder my inventory numbers are close to 300K (shhhh, our secret, I will deny ever saying this), who can resist all this stunning decor? NOMAD's Bohemian raft is super cute and available in PG and Adult versions, and looks perfect on dry ground and water! Express your gratitude and recognize and honor the sacred spark within you with KOPFKINO's Awareness set, that is exquisitely well done.
