Today, my avatar turns 18.
Back in 2006, I created Marcy Tomsen — my virtual doll. I never imagined she’d be by my side for so long.
Second Life has always been just a game to me. When I log out, real life goes on.
But through this virtual world, I’ve met truly wonderful people — some of whom became real-life friends.
I may not be a young girl anymore, but I still adore Marcy. She’s a part of me: my dreams, my creativity, my quiet strength.
She’s lived with joy and passion in a world made of pixels, yet filled with real emotions.
Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey — and to those still walking it with me. ❤️
