Just a prototype. I'm digging sleek modern stuff these days, so I put together one of these vertical style bookcases. Just a protype (code for miiiine, lol) so it's not perfect. I just used silver leafing & a glossy sealer, instead of my good metallic paint, because I'm, lazy.

It has been a long time since I posted on Flicker!
I found this very colorful red-legged buprestis (Buprestis rufipes, family Buprestidae) here in NC while walking the pup the other day. Incredible animal, maybe on of the prettiest beetles I've seen in North America.
This species is related to the highly invasive and destructive emerald ash borer.

This image has many adjustment layers of curves, levels and brightness / contrast. Also a layer of de-saturation to blend the roof structure in with the natural lack of colour on the floor. A layer of blur has also been added to the background.
Also giving a new Logo a test drive to see how it handles before full production.
