I bought the 2 inch wide silver metallic elastic from: www.zibbet.com/Puffytots
This is the most fun fabric. It's 100% polyester and is machine washable and dryable. It shimmers, is drapey and is so soft and twirlable. I cut two 15 inch lengths straight across the width of the fabric. I sewed them together which gave me about 80 inches. I gathered it up along with the same lengths of babysilk 100% polyester lining fabric and sewed it to the elastic.
At first distracted by the masses of butterflies out in the sunshine (commas, brimstone, peacock, orange tip and peacock), when I stopped and looked more closely, I spotted this beetle. As it caught the light at different angles, it looked purplish, or bronze. iNaturalist suggested Metallic Harpalus - so that is how I've labelled it.

super long (36" inseam) straight leg cut. metallic. low waisted. elasiticzed waist. strechy light-weight material, giving you bursting tight, shiny plastic-like (kinda looks like wet dolphin skin) look. these are great substitute for leather pants for rockers. (available at EBAY: stores.ebay.com/REFUSE-TO-BE-USUAL)
Polymer clay on metal bezels. I added moss agate beads (possibly jasper), glass beads and attached a large amber glass bead dangling at the bottom of the pendant.
The bezels came as a set and the more I look at them the more I wonder if they are supposed to be earrings....hmmm...
I don't know if you can tell, but this seam started out with just gold rick-rack. I did herringbone in green, wove it in red, then added the the trios of stems on each side.

Looking like it was out to parasitise something too. The balls are unopened wattle flowers. I just noticed a small orange critter on the right hand flower...I have no idea what is was. You can just see another under the same flower. Maybe the wasps were after these???
