Her head is removed from her body, and placed next to her hood and crown. Her body is undressed, and laid down next to her head and dress.
Her hood and crown were removed from her head, revealing her medium length straight jet black hair, combed straight back, with a widow's peak over her forehead. The crown was attached to the hood and her hair by golden metallic thread, which unfortunately I had to cut off. A good bit of her hair was caught inside of her neck, so I had to remove her head to straighten out her hair. The hair inside her neck was left rather frizzy after combing it out. The rubber band around her hair broke during this process, as it was very brittle after being in her hair for 15 years. I replaced it with a small clear rubber band I saved from my deboxing of other dolls.
Undressing the Mattel Great Villains Evil Queen 12'' Limited Edition Doll (1998) to show her articulation, her hair (hidden under her hood), and how her outfit is constructed. The Evil Queen (Grimhilde) is the villainous stepmother of Snow White in Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937).

After my 'Park in Progress' Tour of the Orbit Tower in March, I found my self in awe at just what a towering structure it really is. For whatever reason I had thought it wouldn't be so vast in scale.
ROUBEI DA THAYLANE kkkk
beijos

Will be busy printing and framing in nice large, matted formats and frames and museum glass! Five of these photos will be printed on 40" x 60" floating wall mounted metal sheets! I think I know which--will share photos of the photos hanging on the walls!
And I am mounting some on plexiglass/acryllic--front mounting them! Some I am printing on lossy fuji-crystal archival paper too, and then front mounting 40"x60" versions to plexiglass--will send photos!
The secret to HDR photography is that you want people to say, "Woe dude--that's unreal!" And not, "Dude--that's not real!" "Unreal" is the word they use when they're trying to figure out the photo--what makes it cool--is it a photo? Is it painted? How'd it come to be--how'd you bend the light that way? "That's not real," is what they say if you have the saturation/HDR/ etc. turned up too high. :)
Some (almost) final edits for my Los Angeles Gallery Show! Printing them on metallic paper at 13" x 19" and mounting and framing them on a 4mm 18x24 white mat and 2" dark wood frame. Also printing some 40" x 70" which is over three feet by five feet! Wish you all could come (and hang out with the goddesses)!
Let me know your favs.!

Homer's Odyssey: Tell me, O muse, of that ingenious hero who travelled far and wide. . . Many cities did he visit, and many were the nations with whose manners and customs he was acquainted; moreover he suffered much by sea while trying to save his own life and bring his men safely home; --Homer's Odyssey translated by Samuel Butler

A Metallic Starling being kept very busy feeding its hungry offspring! These incredible birds migrate from New Guinea to Far North Queensland each year for the wet season to breed. They construct these incredible communal nests in specific trees, with some locations housing hundreds of nests all together in the same tree!

I found these in a little gift shop whilst we were on our houseboat trip. The were beautifully made and only a few dollars - (I think you call the cutting out tool a "nibbler"). I may have a go at this metal cutting one day. The grand daughters ended up with one each.
I used Picmonkey for the frame and textured background.
This ring is made with seriously soft genuine leather with a metallic finishing, but I can also make this design in the color and leather of your choice, just convo me!

Most likely Chalybion californicum, but Sphecid wasps are hard to identify and it could be something else.
Update: Experts at bugguide think it belongs to genus Chlorion.
Metallic blue & green Halictid bees share a Duck Potato blossom (Sagittaria lancifolia) in an enchanted willow marsh. The green bee did not cooperate and is barely visible. (Bees will be bees!)
