This is part of a completely useless gate on the pasture. Done this today for a Wikimedia Commons challenge and then wondered how low I can get. Should open a support group for photography-addicted. Plus, there are enough curves and spirals of fences or other iron work already amoung the submissions. But it's pretty, I like wrought ironwork.

After a month of early running via the Tyne Valley this weekend the Saturday working of the North Blyth to Fort William loaded Aluminia returned to a more civilised 09:25 departure.

Having worked through to Newsham and then turned the train now heads north back over the River Blyth, through Bedlington Junction and then on towards the ECML at Morpeth.

14th September 2017.

I cut out copper 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide forms and added the holes to join them together. Now the fun begins!! Then I hand hammered them. I then took a torch to the copper to give it this wonderful colored patina. It is 7 inches long and really fun to wear!! All 100% hand made!! Stop by ETSY.com and look for my shop, Copperlover. Enjoy the day!!

This singer is getting a little rusty on his guitar.

The remarkably clean underside of Great Western Railway Modified Hall 4-6-0 6990 Witherslack Hall standing on the pit during disposal. The ashpan is the rusty metalwork straight ahead with the front damper open. I had just raked the ash & clinker out of that damper although that large pile was not all from our loco.

The red-painted eccentrics, eccentric rods and expansion links are highlighted.

Autumn is in the air and my mind is going in all kinds of directions artistically! I took copper wire and made two zig zag earrings and added pearls to them! They look beautiful on, lots of movement. For other fun designs go to ETSY.com and look for Copperlover!! Like my friend Steve says; The older I get, the more fun I have!!!!! Enjoy the day dear friends!!

I liked the grass stuck to the pig after the lawn had been freshly mowed. It appears to be a greedy beast.
