Lamp made with my old Photo tripod...
Cool thing is, it's easy to convert back into a work tool again..
On May 24, 2017, CBMM worked with Gunston Day School students on blacksmithing. The program was led by CBMM's Jenn Kuhn and Matt Engel, with more about our student programs at cbmm.org/learn/school-programs/
At the Three Sisters Sanctuary in Goshen, Massachusetts.
We visited them for the first time on a hot, and very sunny day.
I can only imagine how much fun it would be to visit them on a day with a blue sky, and with softer light for photography.
(I struggled quite a bit)
It is a very cool, laid-back, and peaceful place that serves many functions.
We contributed the suggest donation amount of $10 per adult and were greeted with hospitality.
We brought a backpack lunch and ate it in a garden on the site.
This piece of artwork was one of my favorites.
This professionally produced video, made by a news organization, explains the place well:
This 2012 Ford Flex came to us needing rear suicide doors to make it handicap accessible. We completely disassembled the interior to begin the work. New hinge pockets were made in the door jamb and door. The door and quarter were also reinforced to handle the new hinge point. The door handles and latches were swapped side for side and moved to the front of the doors. We did this for two reasons, the first being functionality and the second aesthetics . With the door handles moved to the fornt of the doors, you get the classic look assoicated with the factory style rear suicide doors. Alot of effort also went into making the drivers side rear door power open and close. This door operates with a seperate key fob and can also be operated with a button on the dash and has an emergency release cable installed. This project turned out to be exactly what the customer wanted while keeping a factory built look.

The future Blacksmith David Flack was at the Christmas Market in the greenhouse today. He showed me some of the items he had made including this cool chandelier.

This particular metalwork shop is well known among foreign dignitaries. Among the dignitaries who have visited include the current and previous Kings of Morocco, the Reagans (pictured) and previous French Prime Ministers.
This attaches to my belt, and is where the cords from Veracity and Florencia connect to. The singularity window pulses constantly through a colour cycle and reflects within itself into infinity, creating a pretty nice looking effect IMHO.
