Theres a 580ex mk2 on the camera left on 1/128.

All of these are shot on bulb

Thanks to, Chris, Dave, Sam, Steph and Becca for helping me with these. (Filling balloons, holding stuff and holding the shutter open)

I've seldom had a laugh like I had this labour day.

After attending Zurich labour day 2010, taking pictures, I was walking towards Zurich main railway station. Then I saw a white, innocent Zurich metro police van (see pictures), probably waiting for "customers". "The last picture for today", I thought. Click. Two teenagers were crossing the road. I captured them by accident.

They noticed me and asked me whether I want to make some pictures of them posing infront of the police van. "Sure", I answered. Click (see picture). I added, ironically sniggering, "to get some real cool pics, kick their car...". They laughed.

The lad was clever. Of course he did not kick the constables' van. He had a much better idea (see pictures)...

He sticked to his idea until the van's side door opened and a plain clothes officer jumped out. The officer grabbed the poor lad at once and pushed him into the van.

Whatever word the officer had with the lad, it will remain a secret. At least they made friends again after the officer had had his say.

My first portraits as a new business were of mother and son who are close friends of the family and willing guinea pigs. No poses were planned, all I asked them to do was sit and mess around.

Taken by a very special guy....

.... in case someone comes to visit.

My Missouri friends were parked with their camper in the driveway yesterday morning!

They'd brought their kids and after a while, we went to the creek with ...toys of course.

Distancing was observed as well as masks while on the porch.

The set up shot makes me laugh...there is a small hand of one of the boys and Charlie who is keeping track of everything.

Playing around with HDR post processing.

This is a much more mixed success, with the sky being a bit more dramatic, but at the expense of having the building on the left be burnt out.

Minolta Autocord, Rokkor 75mm f3.5, Kodak Ektar 100.

These two were not very interested at first with photos but once they realised they could just mess around they started to enjoy themselves and photos like these came out.

These trees have always fascinated me so today I did a two shot vertical pano and then cropped. While not a "knock your socks off" shot, it does lend itself to the wide-angle I was using.

Fun collaboration between me and my boyfriend....each took the other's picture :)

First proper pics from my new Canon 5D Mark II....it just had to be silly didn't it?

If only the pope was this cool. I also think the guy with the facial reconstructive surgery would appreciate the break.

You can see GollyGforce sitting on the left side of the tunnel taking pictures & her hat has a reflection on the wall of tunnel.

The beast in an action shot. Note how the X100s is still capturing good detail outside the window!

It was my own fault for expecting a nice photo of them :)

focus dropped on her teeth... i like!! :D

Inspired by scallop holden. I was invited to attempt some golf again after 15+ years of inactivity. Tried to take a good pic or two to leave being proud of something. ;)

For a change of pace and as an exercise, I played around with the idea of changing up the front page of http://www.brian-talbot.com to something else as Shaun had told me today "8 o'clock sure takes a while to get here".

This is just a fun idea, I'm not sure if there'd be any content underneath this page as of now. I just wanted a refresh and a place to reference all of the bits I am doing/using.

Thoughts, ideas and feedback are very welcome. :o)

Something about bum squeezing got the group all excited!!

Bit of a random shot today. I recently received a Canon 50mm f/1.8 (which is rapidly becoming a favourite!) for my birthday and I've spent the last few days messing around with it. I am loving the bokeh! I spent all of last night walking around the house looking for shapes and patterns and ended up in my washing machine shooting this.

Hope you like it!

My friend David has lots of vintage cameras just lying around his house. Not going to lie, he may be kind of a camera whore, haha. Here is just a small selection.
