I was playing with my Loreo Cap Lens on the pinhole setting and was taking photos early this morning with the available light. Check out the clock's minute hand, I did over a 400 second exposure so I caught the movement of the minute hand.
I had a day off. What that means is that I tend to be creatively unfocused. This bunch of tulips caught my attention as they were sitting in the kitchen and lit quite nicely. Mary likes tulips and so I started taking pictures so I could send them on to her. Also, a dose of color to beat back the late inter 'blahs' did me some good. You get to benefit as well!

Seth and I (and sometimes Mary) go bowling on Tuesday nights at Wells Lanes in South Saint Paul. They have an arcade too. After bowling one night Seth was winning tickets at skee ball and I was messing around with the camera by the other games. This is what I got.

ISO 100 shot. You can see the results of the increased dynamic range and the sharpness of the lens. This was hardly processed in lightroom.
See what I did there? I've had this fibre optics lamp for years so I thought I'd take some photos using it. It changes colour a lot but T-Rex looked best against the red background. On a 15 second exposure the lamp takes on an off white shade.
I should start taking the T-Rex with me on walks so I can put him in stupid locations, or maybe not.

Yin-yang. Second floor shop in Iowa City-- it's changed names now I think, and can't remember what it was when I went. Winter, 2002.
The glowing Guardian Dragon!
More fun with edits, zoom blurs, textures, light leaks, bokeh lights and whatnot.
Day 363.
Home home home!
Sailing this morning followed by a non-stop day sorting everything out around the house, we literally didn't stop from waking up at 9am till having dinner at 8pm. This was taken during a few moments break between sorting the laundry and going food shopping.
I don't believe it is autumn again already. When was summer?!?
this reminds me of a trippy mushroom sorta kinda if you squint a little...
these pictures were taken at merlin's bar in binghamton, ny. the lights are out back and very rainbow-ey. i used a long shutter speed... and what else, i have no idea. i don't know what i'm doing when i use my camera most of the time. that's clearly evident, but whatever.
Another person who upon seeing I had a camera said "take a picture of me", so I did and she kept dancing and posing. Thanks whoever you are.
I never could control my staff ! Pearks Stores, Bletchley, Bucks. August, 1964. Val and Arthur. Where are they now ? I was a Relief Manager based in Aylesbury. I used to cycle from Whitchurch to Winslow to catch a train to Bletchley.
A lot of Christmas ornaments have some sort of story behind them. Not this one. Bought it at Target a couple years back. I just like how it sparkles.

Tenuous link: blue sphere.
For a time, I considered dying my hair.
I thought about going black cherry, brunette, and just a few shades darker than my hair.
Well, thanks to the burn brush in LR, I know what I'd look like as a brunette!
Messing around. 15 second exposure and a quick flash from a flashlight. 9 pm under a full moon. That's the ghost of me. Photo and concept by my friend David.
