Yes, sort of a message board. We were lucky to get our Commercial Drive apartment in Vancouver. It was late in the month and suddenly there were two units available in the building above Taco Loco. The reason: the cops had busted a grow-op and arrested the tenants. So, I guess word doesn't really get around so fast, because we had people buzzing up until we left, never quite telling us what they wanted, and never managing to give us a straight answer when we would ask, "Who are you looking for?"
My favourite is Curtis looking for "Dave or something" and the woman who asked for "Pardon."

Fall kickball is now over.
My team had the dubious honor of playing in the "Toilet Bowl" which is the game between the two worst teams in the league.
.... and we WON! Our first win... I am beyond proud of my team at this point. We ended the season in a palindrome 1-7-1.
It was a good night.
In addition, there has been a lot of negativity being thrown at me on the KOCC messageboards and it has kind of been eating at me... one of the charges was that I was never a "team" player on the 69ers and it ws "MY" team and I ruled it with an iron fist and made everyone feel unwelcome and that I was doing the same thing with the Angels. Which kind of upset me a great deal after all I do for the league.
Well.. my team came up with a cheer (unbeknowenst to me) which they unveiled after our victory.
"Whose Angels are we?"
"SCRATCH's ANGELS!"
I cried a little on the field hearing that. :P
