Try to overeat. Actually eat just sufficiently and discontinue the instant you become full Total Tone. Overindulging is usually not positive for your own healthiness.

I finally said "enough is enough" and decided to crack open my dad's old Electro Spotmatic and took it upon myself to attempt a repair. The mirror was stopped at the up position, so the viewfinder was filled with complete blackness. So framing, focusing and checking the exposure were out of the question. The lowest repair estimate that I got was $175 up front, eight weeks of turnaround, and no guarantee that it could it be fixed.
I read some very vague and poorly written instructions on a French Pentax messageboard, and went at it. Ten minutes and two drops of trumpet valve oil later, the mirror is working once again. I even made an Instructable to help English speakers who might want to fit their busted cameras.

I belong to a Lomo and toycamera enthusiasts group called Lomomanila and last Saturday, we had an activity called the Holga Witch Project -- a toy camera shoot with costumed models (mostly friends/volunteers).
We went around UP and took shots of them. My main camera that day was a Holga. But my prints aren't ready yet.
For the first time, my LCA took a backseat to the Holga. I just figured it's about time I played with the H more. I hope to God that I got at least ONE nice Holga shot.
In the meantime, here are my LCA shots (Fuji Sensia 100 slide film xpro). These are my favorites from the roll.
