Hermit crab (Paguroidea) in the Mergui Archipelago, Myanmar

It took two weeks before we found a whale shark in the island of Saw Mon Hia, Mergui Archipelago. This one was probably a very young female about 6m long. She was curious and accepted us. She remained with us for over half an hour before disappearing in the deep.

Interesting rock formation. A large boulder seems to balance on another. Very zen-like.

Manta's are classed as large Eagle rays. These large pelagics can be found in temperate, sub-tropical and Tropical waters and migrate across open oceans.
