This is three photos put together, from when this hummingbird flew by my motion detect camera aimed at the birdbath. (Used the chdk on the Powershot SX230 for the motion detect script.)
Behind the high altar at Bayham Old Abbey in Kent, the roots of this tree have become part of the old walls.

This is a panorama merge of several photos shot with Sony RX100v, merged in Lightroom. Once again I'm impressed with LR's merging capabilities - even though the water ripples were of course slightly different in each shot, it has managed to match them up perfectly and I can't see any seams. This is Lake Atitlán, at the beach in Santa Catarina Palopó, in Guatemala. The colorful boat is a cayuco, a particular type of canoe-like boat they have used there for centuries. Too bad the volcano on the right is mostly hidden by clouds, but you can see Cerro Del Orro, the smaller hill in front of the volcano that is rumored to be full of hidden gold (probably not really, given how much people have looked).
Also, a few days ago, my mom left her camera on an airplane :-(
I know it's a long shot, but if any of you happen to know anyone who found a Sony HX90v on a Delta plane at LAX (or potentially anywhere that plane went next?), please ask them to send me photos from the memory card to see if it's hers.
This is a merge of several lightning pictures i made of the storm that passed over Deventer, The Netherlands tonight.
An unique spot where local roadsystem and the railroad merge into a joint road, or so it seems......
Miniature (5cm) clarinet, gifted to me by my friend Angela's parents following her death in 2012.

Where’s the fault in the Photo?
Jupp you’re right, Big Ben and The London Eye are on opposite Parts of the Westminster Bridge. But as nice as cameras are, the talented user can merge both sights together. I am not talking of merging it together in Photoshop!
What I did here was using the 30s mode. The first 15 seconds I pointed the camera on The London Eye, the next 15 seconds I quickly turned my Tripod around and shot the Big Ben.
If you ever plan to try it bring your lenscap. If you don’t install it whilst turning your camera the whole image will get blurry. You might not want to have it. Also it is hard to get the right detail here because the mirror doesn’t let any light come into your view finder… Think of that, it is important, too!
I hope you like it and get inspired to try some far away from Mainstream things!
Bye bye Flickr!

Where Leven and Glencoe merge, then narrow, and finally broaden into Loch Linnhe is the site of this image looking southwards from Onich.
The Bheinn a Bheithir Horseshoe, a huge wooded corrie lying between three “Munros” and five other “tops” exceeding 750 metres makes this a popular ridge trek with spectacular views.
The background peaks, in shot, are Sgorr Dhearg, 1,024 metres (2nd. From left) and Sgorr Dhonuill, 1,001 metres (central).
With views to Ardgour, Morvern and Mull, westwards, and The Mamores, Loch Leven and Bidean nam Bian, above Glencoe, eastwards, this ridge is a prime site for scenic splendour.
Ballachulish Cantilever Bridge is visible on the left,
where Loch Leven narrows to a mere 200 metres.
Lochaber has so many superb mountainous vantage points
and impressive, challenging climbs that it has become known
as Scotland’s “Outdoor Capital.”
Little wonder that this area was chosen as the
training ground for British Commandos, as commemorated
by the statue at Spean Bridge, over-looking the Nevis Range.
I decided to return to the Lake & Wells Streets parking garage in order to capture this shot. My Manfrotto Magic Arm (thanks Chris) allowed me to position the camera much further out over the ledge than a tripod would have. An ND filter allowed me to slow the shutter down. You're looking at 2 layered shots of course.
