We tried out Molly Moon's Ice Cream, but after a weekend of sunny days, they were out of most of the most interesting flavors. I ended up with "Scout" Mint, and Elizabeth got Vivace Coffee. Both really good!
the last time I was here, I was having a stroke on December 31, 2006. It was odd being in the restaurant again, and weird that everything was exactly the same. same charming kitschy vibe. I learned that the restaurant is closing for the next 2 months to remodel and renovate. the menu won't be like this anymore.
p.s. we like coming here for fondue...but everything is a bit overpriced for what it is.
Our menu is watched over by the fictional inspiration for Cilantro, Doña Esperanza, matriarch of a family of foodies.

My 7 year-old goddaughter surprised me with this Service Menu today! So far I've had a back rub (for 9 minutes) and a foot massage with lotion (for 6 minutes). She's fixing our dinner tonight (cheese burritos) too! Although I've just been informed she's creating a dinner menu I get to choose from. Yeah baby, this is the life!

On Saturday we did organize a dinner party with 2 other friends of mine. We met in the morning to do our shopping then in the afternoon we prepared the dinner. In the evening our spouses and kids arrived to have dinner altogether. It was really fun and we had a great time together.
