Cruise nights are winding down as the temperatures wind down too...but this night was a 'good-un'. A nice turnout at Lexington's classic Parkette Drive-In. The Parkette...home of the "Poor Boy" double-decker burger...has been Lexington's 'place-to-cruise' since about the day after it opened in 1951.
Fuzzy dice and a drive-in menu...where were you in '62?
The menu at Worthy Kitchen. It's a slightly more upscale menu than Worthy Burger, with fried chicken, steak frites, and similar "upscale diner" fare.
And notably, no burgers. If you want a burger, go to Worthy Burger.

Menu posted out front for the 老回民大盘鸡拌面馆 Lao Hui Min Da Pan Ji Ban Mian Guan. A Hui-minority-cuisine noodle restaurant, next to the PSB station on Wenhua, east of Aita.
In the Chinese Hanzu ethnicity groupings, the Hui are a group of racially Han Chinese people who are Muslims and who have traditionally lived in northwest China east of Xinjiang, especially in Ningxia Province.
The Hui Noodle House has this menu posted out front, with a variety of inexpensive options. Even if you can't read Chinese, they'll figure out how to bring you something tasty. You can always fall back on the reliable "lamien" - lah-mee-yen'

Menu for an asian restaurant that solely concentrates on simplicity. The menu is wrapped in a cream textured cover that imitates Asian rice paper.
The prices featured here are in cents. The picture is NOT doctored, and it's fairly recent (notice how they call them Freedom Fries?) This menu was on the wall in Pechin's Cafeteria in Dunbar, PA. They opened about 50 years ago and had only made minor increases to price since then. Unfortunately, the whole shopping strip this place was in burned down several months ago.
