In my ongoing mission to archive my Dads photography I'm now working on his medium format film. I am not spotting these as it takes to much time and in many cases not possible.
It-is-what-it-is, a moment in time.
Just started using a new scanner today. I have know idea where to begin or of what!
I've got stuff in boxes and envelopes since 1977. It looks like it is going to be a long winter.
Took this image a couple of weeks ago, using Mamiya M645J and Delta 400 film. Nice to see a couple so happy together :-)
A small beach caught my attention on the way back from the Oregon Inlet life-saving station. It was low tide and receded water left seagrass and white shells on the sand. It took me little time to find the composition I wanted and set up my camera.
Fomapan 200 (original emulsion) @ 200 in 510-Pyro 1:100 6 min 21C. TF4 fixer.
Shot with the Iskra medium format folder (1962 vintage). Industar-58 75mm f/3.5 lens.
Test shot from my first roll of medium format. I also butchered the hell out of the roll loading it onto the developing reel, which was actually a two-hour process being stuck in a sweaty changing bag, and I ended up getting tagged out by Kari. I didn't bother spotting this either.
Rapid Omega 200, 90mm Hexanon, Tri-X 400, handheld at either 1/30 or 1/15.
