After Jason chowed we wandered over to Centennial Square. While I medicated with my federally licensed medicinal herb, a reefer madness zealot of a security guard comes over to kick us out of the square. Immediately the warrior in Jason comes out and he pronounces that this is his territory and the guard has no right to evict us.
Forget that it was a direct and actionable act of discrimination against a legal medicinal marijuana user; it was just rude how the guard approached us, his hate for marijuana clouding his judgment; but now his hate had him standing face to face with righteous indignation, he was now up against a big and bad-ass Mohawk Warrior...
...I watched the color leave the security guard's face, his eyes filled with fear...

I spent a pleasant evening with some friends the other night.
I ordered several drinks to help relax.
The problem was I couldn't hear a single word they said.
Not surprising when your ears are filled with wax.
My morning shower left water in my ear canal,
Like when that ship got stuck in the Suez.
I kept poking napkins down there trying to sop it up.
Not an easy feat like everybody says.
Finally giving up, I just sat there and nodded my head,
Pretending in the conversation, I was involved.
I feared that sooner or later, I would be found out:
I'd be deaf until my ear wax was dissolved.
Returning home, 10 ear drops I dribbled into either side.
Several minutes I waited for each dose to do its job.
When the gurgling stopped, with my blue squeegee ball syringe,
I squirted hot water into each medicated ear
Until into the sink fell several viscous gobs.
Viscous gobs, viscous gobs --
Why did God create us?
And then place us as unwanted guests
In someone's external acoustic meatus?
Viscous gobs, viscous gobs--
Filled with ear hair and dead skin.
Trapping unsuspecting insects
Until those earwax drops drop in.

We were planning to go out of town for Thanksgiving day to have dinner with family. But Mojo decided that now was a good time to start throwing up everything but the kitchen sink. So, off to the vet we went. (Mojo has always been the one with the finicky stomach.) He's going to be fine - but we have to medicate him every few hours - so we're going to stay home.
Now I just need to decide what to make for Thanksgiving dinner... do I go traditional and buy a turkey, or do I make what Adam and I would prefer (homemade pizza)?

Yesterday I went to the doctor, only to find out I have Chronic Anxiety Disorder. It basically means that I worry about stuff WAY too much, and it stresses me out and I often can't sleep at night because I'm worrying about anything and everything. He prescribed me with a medicine that is supposed to help me out, but I am worried about taking pills to regulate what seems to be my personality. It's pretty heavy.
The doctor also prescribed Ambien to help me sleep, as my anxiety is keeping me from sleeping. It is pretty trippy but it's nice to finally get a good night's sleep!
Today spent three hours at the dentist (1st time in 7 years) and am totally stressed out by how much work I need done. Fillings, Root Canal, Crown, and my Wisdom Teeth removed. I AM NOT MADE OF MONEY!
All this stuff is not helping my anxiety! So I've been pretty thoughtful and kind of bummed out today.

Day 3 since Bethany's rescue, and if you'll zoom in on this picture (there is a magnifying glass at the top right for that), you will see that through this severely damaged skin, tiny little hairs are coming through :-)
In a few weeks she will have a whole new layers of skin (once the injured layer peals off), and then of course a beautiful new coat will follow.
She is eating very well, she keeps rubbing on people to help the dry skin come off, and tomorrow she will get another medicated bath to help her with that as well.

Every now and then I try my hand at things like this - landscapes or what not.
I have spent the last two days catching up with friends. I pulled out my camera for a little bit while with some friends at the Oregon coast saturday. It's nice to be a young guy with friends and I feel that I've been more a hermit and apathetic in my relationships lately so these have been a medicating couple of days.

The Hayward Public Library was pleased to host Dr. Vaidya Priyanka ("Vaidyaji") on February 18, 2012, for an 18-point holistic health lecture about the philosophy and everyday applications of the ancient holistic medical system Ayurveda. The presentation included a guided meditation and a question and answer session.
Dr. Vaidya Priyanka comes from an almost 718-year-old lineage of women Ayurvedic healers from Kerala, India. In her practices all over the world, she teaches the principles of Ayurveda and how to integrate the various applications of this ancient science alongside nutritional supplements of the West — including medicated oil applications, aromatherapy, yoga, nutrition, music, cooking, dance, exercise, and meditation— into people's daily lifestyles as part of their own healing journey. Dr. Priyanka teaches about the nature of various foods and their importance in health, and how to utilize Ayurvedic techniques of internal cleansing, detoxification, and rejuvenation for the restoration of health.
Dr. Priyanka is a Board-certified holistic health practitioner, a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and serves on the board of Haute Couleur as part of its development team. She is actively involved in several international non-profit ventures.

I was out shooting street again today - and of course, the police stopped me. They claimed it was because of my weed I wasn't smoking.
They were polite but said that the tourists don't understand and they expect the police to do something about me smoking my weed (medication). I wasn't smoking when they stopped me, so I can only assume they were watching me shoot street photos, and must have seen me medicate.
...but - they've stopped me so many times, and so many times they've seen my Federal Marijuana Exemption Card - were they checking to see if it was valid, hoping to catch me?

In the recent past, bottle feeding has been one of the areas of concern for parents. While some parents think that bottle feeding is just as fine as breastfeeding and that it gives a lot of freedom and time to the mother. With bottle around, it is easy even for daddy to feed the baby. Apart from these, with bottle feeding parents feel a sense of control in terms of what is going into the bottle and they don’t have to worry about what the mother eats and medicates which can in turn influence the baby, when breastfed.
