Third day in a row to end with Starbucks coffee. The poison this time? Iced Carmel Macchiato. Can you medicate yourself with caffeine?
A lot to think on, and coffee ironically relaxes me- opposite effect I know. What can I say, sometimes I am a little backwards in how things should be.

Special brownies for a special sister! Enjoy the fudgy chocolatey goodness @teaghan_r !
Recipe:
1/2 cup salted butter
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 oz decarbed cannabis, coarsely ground
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup all purpose flour
In a small pot, combine butter, oil and cannabis. Bring to a low simmer and cook, stirring often, for 45 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes, then strain through cheesecloth into a small bowl, pressing down to extract as much butter/oil as possible. Set aside.
Heat oven to 350F and grease a 9" square pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and eggs until light in colour, about 3 minutes.
Add the butter / oil mixture, followed by the cocoa and vanilla. Beat another 2 minutes.
Add the flour and *gently* stir in until incorporated. Do not beat.
Scrape into the pan and bake for 22-25 minutes.
Cool completely (ideally chill) before serving.
Based on calculations by jeffthe420chefcalculator.com/
a serving (1/8th recipe) using Bedrocan (22% THC) contains 152.75 mg THC. Dose carefully!
For some, getting #high is simple, just one hit is enough, and then, with one inhale, they’d be in that world, where the mind would move quickly, excited about the world around them, and just one puff would leave them too stoned to function, but delightfully happy.
But then, over time, as one uses it for medical reasons, they find that there is a dependance, and soon, they’d feel so high they don’t feel, anything, or are unable to get high.
Medical users is a bit different since through using this, they’re oftentimes using it to #medicate, but for #recreational stoners, usually they can get high.
The conundrum of #tolerance is something that a lot of people struggle with, and here, we’ll go over what happens if you use it, and the downfall of getting too high all the time.
Does Going Medical Mean anything
Once you look into the #endocannabinoid system, there is a correlation between the #health, and of course getting high.
That’s because there are articles that talk about endocannabinoid deficiency, which is behind the reason for a lot of #chronic #illnesses.
That means that the endocannabinoid state can affect the ability to look at and understand the more intoxicating parts of consuming the cannabis that you have. The experience that one has where the lose high is not a unique one, where they may end up not feeling the high, even if it’s there.
The cannabis effects are similar to chess in a lot of cases. Normally, you could only handle it a little bit, but then over time, with tolerance, they may start to feel like they don’t have anything going on, with the high eventually leaving. It is important to understand that it does reduce the #pain, #spasms, and whatnot, but at a price.
How Much Cannabis Should I Have
Everyone has a different endocannabinoid system, which is cool, but the problem is, there’s no set way on which level to use with people.
You can’t just have one specific amount for someone to use or what they need, it involves the way the #receptors work, how active they tend to be, and also how many period there are, and how many specific endocannabinoids are there and whether or not there are enzymes contributing to breaking this down too.
This can be out of a person’s control, affecting the tone as well.
The result? It could be someone smaller who needs a bunch of #THC, and then someone we may require nothing at all.
That’s partially why a lot of people don’t use a per kilogram basis for this.
The perception of high
This also is a part of it. If a medical patient isn’t getting high, it might be because they’re so used to it, that it already exist there, creating almost a permissioned sort of matter.
This can alter the perspective, and it can sometimes loosen the associations and give a various series of perspectives on the environment.
When you look at MS patients, there are those that used cannabis to help with stabilizing the condition, and they noticed that they did better when not consuming all the time.
#Cannabis does reduce the symptoms, but there’s a lot more there, and sometimes, there is the attitude that goes into it, and sometimes, they just accept that this s the way.
Sometimes, the effects of cannabis on the body can change and dull things, which is why understanding your limits and being reasonable is important to understand and get a hold on as well.
Very warm days early Summer days in Ann Arbor. Saw lots of fox squirrel juveniles and adults out and about in Ann Arbor on Tuesday July 2nd and Wednesday 3rd, 2019 at the University of Michigan. So all sorts of things going on. I did see "Patches O'Houlihan" again (a squirrel who had lost most of her fur because of mange) on the Law Quad. Last week, I reached out to the Friends of Wildlife Michigan and they connected me with someone who has worked up some medicated pecans for me to feed the squirrel. I came on Saturday and did not see Patches, but I saw another who seemed to have mange. I did give that little one the first pecan and hopefully that will help. I decided to call that one "Justin" for the youngest team member on the dodgeball team that Patches coaches. On the 3rd, I noticed a third squirrel who might have mange. It could be something that is spread through a nest. So I gave him a name (for tracking) and the medicated pecan. In keeping with the Dodgeball theme - say hello to "Steve the Pirate" He has something on his left paw - and a bald patch on his left side. I will track their progress - fingers crossed!

It's astounding: Nearly half the U.S. population is now taking a daily dose of one or more pharmaceuticals. The drug industry, which once merely hoped to medicate sick people, now has a more ambitious goal: medicate everyone, including people who aren't sick.

These hens are eating NON MEDICATED CRUMBLES Make sure your hens don't have acces to 'Medicated' Chick Crumbles'. If your Feed Store Rebags the Chick Crumbles into Smaller Bags,, make sure it is not medicated with 'Lasalocid' or' Monensin'. You can read case histories on the internet. NOT TO BE GIVEN TO HENS LAYING EGGS FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION, OR HENS LAYING FERTILE EGGS. IT CAUSES HIND LEG PARALISIS IN DOGS.And can give you similar symptoms, take it from one who knows from experience!!
( My dog never got back up onto his feet after eating spilled Medicated Chick Crumbles'ie. Lasalocid' (AVATEC).The internet tells you that 'Monensin' does this to dogs but they haven't got case histories about AVETEC.
If your Feed Store sells medicated chick crumbles and does not have the warning written on the smaller bag Please ask them to do so for everyones sake. It is illegal to sell the drug without a warning. People have a right to know what they are using and the dangers.Beware of using chicken manure, from chicks that have been fed medicated food on your 'vegy garden 'or citrus trees!.
silkies08@yahoo.com.au These hens are eating NON MEDICATED ' 'LAUCKE RED HEN CHICK CRUMBLES.; It gives their feathers a lift! and noticeable helps with pest prevention,' BUT' when I have fed it, for more than two nights running,, the hens start getting aggressive. Each time, I have noticed a particular hen fighting with a few of the hens during the day, I have then found that particular hen dead the next morning.( Is it because she had eaten more crumbles, than the others, or because she has fought with too many hens on her own, during the day? But for what ever reason it was the crumbles that caused the fighting in the first place!! Which I find strange, as I have been told, Low Protein, causes cannibalism, in hens, So why are they fighting when fed high protein??, is it another ingredient in the feed, that is causing it?
Make sure your hens don't have access to 'Medicated' Chick Crumbles'.CA . Crumbles with medication in it by law has to have CA written somewhere on the bag, to show it is medicated, If you buy your chick food in any bag other than the large 30 kg bags with the writing all over it to warn you of it's use, then beware it is more than likely to be medicated.
I am being continually told by unsuspecting people that they are feeding all their animals on 'Ordinary Chick Crumbles' as it is cheaper and all their animals love it, not realizing that it is infect retagged medicated chick crumbles, in an unmarked bag. I immediately ask them if their 'Dog' is having trouble getting up after it has been lying down for any time, and by the look on their faces I can see their dog is, having trouble. Vets are making a lot of money operating on peoples dog's hip joints, and the people who I know, have let their dogs eat chook food have found their dogs are no different after the operation (because they are still suffering from the effects of the antibiotic,( which causes Flaccid Paralysis), from the chook food.)
'Dynamic Lifter' is made from chook poo and as the drug is not effected by heat processes or biodegradable ,then it is more than likely the reason dogs get sick after eating it! If your Feed Store Rebags the Chick Crumbles into Smaller Bags,, make sure it is not medicated with 'Lasalocid' or' Monensin'. You can read case histories on the internet. If you 'Google', 'Monensin'

It is illegal to sell the drug without a warning. People have a right to know, what they are using and the dangers. Beware of using chicken manure, from chicks that have been fed medicated food on your 'vegy garden 'or citrus trees!. It is not bidegradeable,ie it doesn't break down with time! It will always be there.
They feed cattle a reduced dose of lasalocid (Avatec), for size weight gain. While it is not found in the meat, it is found in the offell!!,manure and under the skin. They use offal for protein in chicken cube feed. It also stays in the skin of chickens. Maybe this is why they tell us not to eat chicken skin(, not because of the fat content?) A Vet years ago now told me never to feed a dog eggs as it can cause problems with their hips!!. Maybe the effect of' Monosin' in the eggs was known about ,but nobody pointed out that it was the antibiotic, that was the problem in the eggs not the egg, itself. You get a lot of comments of ' Don't Use a Certain Product' , but now one will say what they know is wrong with it , because the Cemical Companies are too big.
Since I have found out about the use of Avetec in feed lots, for weight and size gain, I now realize, this is the reason ,why I had a batch of pullets that grew over size, as I had kept them on the medicated chick crumbles to point of lay, not knowing about the dangers of the medication.
Not many of these pullets lay and the ones that have, have never had a live chick!! Pullets from the same lines fed on non medicated Pullet mix from 4 weeks of age to point of lay, are consistent layers.( Beware of 'Medicated Pullet Mixes') This could also be the reason they tell you not to breed from pullets until they are 2 years of age, giving it time to get out of their system.( The younger hens have egg shells that are too tough, which can starve the chick from oxygen and cause crippled chicks.(Word of mouth says the chicken farmers use medicated food up to when they are sold to make them grow quicker, but most of the birds are crippled by the time they are picked up for slaughter. There was a TV program on this but when I enquired to get more information, all sources deigned any involvement , and it was passed off, on the program, as being bad management by the farmer. But I have heard from Staff members that it is common for meat chickens to be crippled when they pick them up from the farms, but the same chickens if taken home by the staff and fed on normal food they grow OK.
If you let your hens brood the chicks, make sure the hen can't access the medicated chick crumbles. The old farmers wrote, that they kept the chick crumbles in a partitioned corner, or in a cage, that only the chicks could pass through the barrier to access the medicated crumbles. silkie08@yahoo.com.au
Hens that have eaten the medication can have embryos that die in the shell or infertile eggs, or as they get it out of their systems the chicks can have leg joint problems. I think this could be because it also prevents them from absorbing the nutriments in their food!,(needed for good bone, joint and connective tissue, developement.) beyond 4 weeks of age. If your hen's chicks are like this, try her again at a much later date!. I had breeders that had been fed 'Medicated Chick Crumbles',they took 2 years to get healthy chicks again, even though the breeders themselves were in top condition

It's been 4 months, and I feel like I'm back to about 35-40%. Too, the timing was incredibly inconvenient. I was 3 or 4 days post-op and had to show up for Nursing School orientation. This boy was heavily medicated. I remember almost nothing. I was given papers (I'm told), a list of things to do.
I spent the first several weeks in an opiate fog penetrated by an instructor voice saying "don't forget x must be done by Monday! It's on the list!" I don't know how I got through that time, and have spent the first semester in a state of 'WTF is happening'. I also was out of work for over a month so money was tight.
I'm broke, my baseline heart rate is up 20 points and my b/p now rests at the prehypertension line. I'm more overweight than I've ever been, and my lipids are not good.
I want my mommy.
I have wondered what percentage of fat, forty-something nursing students have a major cardiovascular incident before graduating.
It's almost over. 2 weeks left in the first semester. I'm gonna go fishing. It would also be great if the piece-of-ass fairy could tap me with her wand. Y'all cross your fingers for me. 😊
Chattem started The Chattanooga Medicine Company in 1879 selling Black-Draught.
In 1880 Dr. McElree's Wine of Cardui was introduced, a menstrual relief product for women . To maintain the company's building reputation for quality, the new product was delivered to customers with the agreement that they would pay for it only if fully satisfied with its results. Wine of Cardui immediately became successful, as more than 6,500 women reported cures and sent payment to the company for an initial shipment of 7,000 bottles.
Customers were so pleased with the new products that their subsequent communications to the company were massive, and the Chattanooga Medicine Company "quickly became the largest generator of mail in the Chattanooga area and was assigned its own government-paid post office on the premises.
(According to tradition, Wine of Cardui originated among the Cherokee Indians.)
Chattem, Inc. manufactures and markets a diverse array of brand name pharmaceuticals, toiletries, and cosmetic items. Focusing on smaller product lines that it can market without competing directly against other giant companies in the business, Chattem has had a successful history in helping such products flourish. Over the years, it has manufactured and marketing name-brand products such as Black-Draft, Wind of Cardui, Pamprin, Premsyn PMS, Norwich Aspirin, Sun-In, Ultraswim Shampoo and Conditioner, Bullfrog Sunblock, Flex-all 454, Icy Hot, Benzodent, pHisoderm, MUDD Facial Masque, Corn Silk, Gold Bond Medicated Powder and Lotions, Love's Fragrances, Quenchers, and Baby Soft cosmetics lines.
. With a continually increasing list of successful product offerings, and with sales divisions already operating in the United States, Canada, and Europe, Chattem seemed to possess the resources to achieve its goals.

After Jason chowed we wandered over to Centennial Square. While I medicated with my federally licensed medicinal herb, a reefer madness zealot of a security guard comes over to kick us out of the square. Immediately the warrior in Jason comes out and he pronounces that this is his territory and the guard has no right to evict us.
Forget that it was a direct and actionable act of discrimination against a legal medicinal marijuana user; it was just rude how the guard approached us, his hate for marijuana clouding his judgment; but now his hate had him standing face to face with righteous indignation, he was now up against a big and bad-ass Mohawk Warrior...
...I watched the color leave the security guard's face, his eyes filled with fear...

I spent a pleasant evening with some friends the other night.
I ordered several drinks to help relax.
The problem was I couldn't hear a single word they said.
Not surprising when your ears are filled with wax.
My morning shower left water in my ear canal,
Like when that ship got stuck in the Suez.
I kept poking napkins down there trying to sop it up.
Not an easy feat like everybody says.
Finally giving up, I just sat there and nodded my head,
Pretending in the conversation, I was involved.
I feared that sooner or later, I would be found out:
I'd be deaf until my ear wax was dissolved.
Returning home, 10 ear drops I dribbled into either side.
Several minutes I waited for each dose to do its job.
When the gurgling stopped, with my blue squeegee ball syringe,
I squirted hot water into each medicated ear
Until into the sink fell several viscous gobs.
Viscous gobs, viscous gobs --
Why did God create us?
And then place us as unwanted guests
In someone's external acoustic meatus?
Viscous gobs, viscous gobs--
Filled with ear hair and dead skin.
Trapping unsuspecting insects
Until those earwax drops drop in.
