With the guys away on separate missions, Stormtrooper Bruce is excited to have the whole weekend all to himself. Planning to indulge in some long overdue "me time" and enjoy some guilty pleasures, he can't help but wonder WHY there was a present waiting in his quarters when he arrived?
With no note or any indication who it came from - does he dare open it? Is it just a harmless gift? Or a trap?

While I was enjoying a gorgeous Spring morning in the garden earlier I just looked up and took this photo.
I was sitting outside on the terrace taking today's photo and watching Izzy lazing in the sunshine. A wonderful way to spend some me time.
Other than since I got my new ears, the birds seem to be singing far too loudly and as for the Jackdaws, they should carry a health warning!!

30 Days/Graditude 09' Day #5 Finally! I'm all caught up! *hehe*
I'm grateful for the little me time that I get when my daughter takes a nap and goes to sleep early. Her going to sleep early doesn't happen a lot but when it does, it makes my day! haha
I get to play online, get chores done, read magazines, read books, watch movies... And I know this may TMI but even take showers alone! She loves to take baths with me... which I love because it's been great bonding opportunities but I do like to take my showers alone without having to worry about her slipping or getting cold because we have to share the shower head. LOL
Anyway... I love my me time. And although I haven't had much of it since Hubby's been gone all these weeks, I've managed just fine. I always squeeze it in somehow. It's absolutely necessary for me to keep going without him here. Without that extra help. =)
Really glad you're all liking this project I'm doing. I don't know if they can all continue to be as great as the one before. I'm running out of "juice" here. But I'm trying!
Yes, against possibly my better judgment, I'm going to do a 365 in 2018. I do miss the Flickr community. So here I am, and we'll see if I can last. Maybe doing the 100 project may be smarter. I'll also join it.

Strange, how churches become more and more important to me. I must admit that I avoid going to a service, but if I'm alone I feel relaxed. It is like a shelter for me, because I'm always alone inside so I can leave my business outside. I like the modern ones, because of their serious engagement with society, religion and architecture. Maybe you remember my visit to St. Theodore in Vingst. The church here, Christi Auferstehung", is also a Böhm building and it is located in Cologne’s Lindenthal. Today, when I picked up son, I recognized that I parked in front of the Church so that I decided to enter it. I know the church for several years and I really like the windows. Maybe you can see the vertical black belts? They are made of thousands of nails, which are inside the glass. By the way, Gottfried Böhm is the father of Paul Böhm who is the architect of the new central mosque here in Cologne.
Relaxation time is key to a good time.
