My intention was to focus on the lighting coming from the bright sun off to the left as well as focus on the architecture of this old church in downtown buffalo. The sun is casting some interesting rays across the face of the building but creating good shadows on the front as well.

A jazz screaming trumpet legend. I had the chance to see him live before he died, and he was still screaming on that trumpet at age 70.

The end of the year trip to Mrs Maynard's farm for the Co-op kids of 2015-16

My intention was to capture the minimalist nature of this rippling water which has great horizontal repeating lines helping the viewer's eyes move horizontally through the image. I also converted to black and white.

My intention was to capture the complex nature of all this corn, I thought it was interesting that all the corn kind of morphs together and the viewer's eye moves through the image trying to identify single ears of corn, the color was also very nice, I brought the image into a tight frame so none of the sky or other grass could be seen and the corn seems endless.
