Rather better weather in Chester than three days earlier as 61306 Mayflower crossed the River Dee on its fourth run of the week from Crewe to Shrewsbury.
69001 'Mayflower' is seen sat at Tonbridge West Yard with a further 4 class 69s out on RHTT duties. The two 73s in the distance are 73212 & 73136 24/10/24.

I did consider the "towpath shot" of Mayflower crossing the Chirk Railway Viaduct but thought that the steam might be a problem in the strong westerly wind. As the locomotive crossed back into England the steam did dip and, given a decent aspect from the foot crossing, I was happy enough to have given the canal viewpoint a miss.
LNER Thompson Class B1 61306 is a preserved British steam locomotive. In preservation, it has carried the LNER-derived number 1306 and the name Mayflower, complete with LNER Apple Green Livery.
61306 "Mayflower" makes a smoky departure from a signal check at Woofferton whilst heading Saphos trains "Welsh Marches Express" towards Shrewsbury on 30 May 2024.
The British Motor Show came to Farnborough in August 2022 and visitors to the show were able to use a park & ride shuttle bus service provided by Wheelers of Southampton with assistance from Mayflower and Altonian. A separate shuttle to the railway station was provided by D&P Coaches.

i tried to photograph them again today... ohh they look terrible ;( sadly my friends, we have no rain this year only a single drop; it is looking to be a drought same as last year. and so all the flowers have already perished, well love you guys... trick to getting this was standing on a tall ladder, it's a big shrub .8th September

In addition to the week-long rail replacement services along the Petersfield to Guildford corridor which took place in February 2022, several school rail replacement services were operated covering Liphook, Liss and Haslemere. The school in question, Bohunt, used Liphook Station as the terminus for their special services.
An Abandoned Triumph Mayflower '53 was found south east of the island.. Still Remains in time at the same place :)

Dawn breaks at the Severn Valley Railway. The LNER Thompson Class B1 4-6-0 steam locomotive 61306 Mayflower is pictured at Bewdley being prepared to head back to Crewe on Tuesday morning November 8th 2022. The apple green engine spent a few days at the Severn Valley Railway as part of staff training in the use of the air pump and air brakes.
