Max can spend ages sitting on the dining table watching the birds at the feeders outside.
He prefers to watch the pigeons, as they stay in one place much longer than the little birds, who fly in, grab a morsel and fly away.

One of the many marvellous photography techniques provided by analog photography is the double (or triple…) exposure film, directly on camera.
I was always fascinated by the possibility of handling the negative from the moment of shooting, and this factor was the key one for me when it came the time to chose a camera; I need a fully mechanical camera that allows me to control shutter speed, aperture, and lock the film for double exposure. Doesn’t seem like i am asking to much, am I?
Nowadays is relatively easy to produce double exposure. Although i like digital photography, i always preferred to create my double exposures with my trusty old camera, get out in the streets and enjoy shooting, avoiding tedious hours of post production in front of a computer screen, often ending up with a result that is closer to graphic design than photography.
The magic of double exposure is limitless. I love how it’s possible to mix and mash spaces that are completely different from each other, make them clash inside a new world that takes life inside a negative. I call it pre-darkroom; a manipulation of reality that we cannot affect in any way. Only at the time of processing the film we will how the planes stack with each other. Most times it is actually almost impossible to discern how the images complement each other; it might be simple luck, or it might very well be that these 2 worlds really take a life of their own on the silver of the film, and they become something else. In the end, what we try to do is to clumsily control the light.
Max likes to get on top of the highest cupboard in the kitchen and watch what I’m doing. He’s quite happy to sit up there for a couple of hours if I’m busy. I just managed to capture this with my phone as he suddenly became aware of a pigeon on the bird-feeder.

Max was a rescued dog and comes from an abusive background. He has recovered nicely and although our first encounter was a little sketchy he quickly came around.
Max has been working on his look the last few days. He looks so much more refined and unique now. Great job Max!!!

Hey guys! In case you didn't know, I'm a massive Mad Max fan, and I realized just yesterday that I don't have a single Mad Max related photo on my stream, so I figured that I should make some figures from my favorite film in the series: The Road Warrior. Most of the figures didn't really have names in the film, save the Feral Kid, The Gyro Captain, and of course Max Rackantansky himself. The others were in the film of course, only were never given a name/title so I'm not really sure what to refer to them as. By the way, note that these may not be extremlly accuarte becuase I haven't seen the movie in a little while now. Anyway, I had a blast making these, since apocalypse characters are my specialty when it comes to making figures. I'm planning on making the rosters for the others films as well, so be on the look out for that. I'd also love to know if you are a Mad Max fan, and if so, what is your favorite film out of the four? Recently returned from its refurbishment at St Helens, ARRIVA Buses Wales VDL Pulsar 2650 - CX07 CTZ is pictured in Rhyl on route 51 to Dinbych, Lenten Pool (Denbigh Lenten Pool).This is the third of these buses to be so treated following on from 2652 and 2649.
Max came over for a coffee this afternoon and sat down in the kitchen while I photographed some blueberries . . . and then I turned round - thank you, Max for letting me take photos . . .
Ho fotografato questa Weltaflex utilizzando per la prima volta una Voigtlander Avus a soffietto del 1920 ca. Monta un maglifico Skopar anastigmat 4,5/13,5 cm. Ho esposto manualmente per 1 sec. con la posa B e con il diaframma chiuso a 19.
Avendo la macchina un formato 9X12cm ho utilizzato un adattatore Rollex 6x9cm.
La pellicola è una Kodak T-MAX 400, sviluppata con ilford ID-11 1+1, per 11 minuti
