Watching the world go by... well, the birds go by, at least!
Desaturated the colour slightly to make the greyness of the cat be the most defined shade. I felt the curtain, and wooden bird were distracting.

The theme for week 47 is Portrait - not a self portrait! This is my cat companion Max and today is his second birthday. He agreed a little reluctantly to let me take his photo.
Not long after setting off for their trek to Max, ND; Dakota & Missouri Valley & Western’s Max Turn cruises north on the railroad’s Missouri Valley Subdivision as it passes a pair of the railroads plows waiting for the impending winter. At one point this track was part of the Soo Line’s Western Davison as their Missouri River Sub that ran from Drake to Bismarck.

Day 18 with the newest addition to our family.
Today was Anthony's birthday. He got some new lego's and was in the process of putting them together when Max decided that he wanted to observe the process for quality control. After all, someone needs to ensure that Anthony follow the instructions properly, otherwise he might end up with a dump truck instead of whatever it is he is supposed to be building!

For 1954 the Aronde received a new moustache shaped grille, and the indicators moved to the side.
There were three generations Simca Aronde. This one is from the second generation which appeared in October 1955 at the Salon de Paris.
This Aronde Commerciale is an original Belgium car. It is in use as a publicity object by Matra specialist Garage Verhulst.

My girlfriend's cat Max chasing a moth.
Of our 3 cats, Max is probably the best bugger. He goes crazy whenever there's a moth or some other type of insect around and if the bug is high on the wall, he'll cry until one of us picks him up and gets him close to it. But I don't think he's ever killed a mouse.
My cat Nero on the other hand couldn't care less about bugs. But when it comes to mice, he's pretty deadly. Knock wood, we don't have mice in our house, but back in my last apartment, there was one winter where the mouse situation in the building was pretty bad.
Nero racked up about a dozen confirmed kills. Fortunately, he only brought me one that was still alive.
