The Math Circles for Elementary Teachers project will provide teachers, particularly those that serve underserved and underrepresented youth, an opportunity to deepen their understanding of math and how to teach it. Weekly meetings will provide teachers a supportive environment in which to explore fundamental ideas in mathematics. Why the hell did it take me five minutes to do the math in my head? It was $16.49 for 40 DVD labels and $29.99 for 50? Pretty easy right? It took me five minutes to figure this one out. Damn I suck.

2015 BotsIQ preliminary competition at Westmoreland County Community College. SWPA BotsIQ is an educational robotics competition for high school age students. It provides these students with a unique, hands-on experience that allows them to discover the possibilities of a career in the manufacturing sector, and other science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) fields.
At the end of the day, there's nothing quite like sitting outside and enjoying the company of others.
