This is the maths question that i don't know how to do......
In the figure, ABC is an equilateral triangle and BCDE is a square of side 1 cm. It is given that BF=1 cm and BD is √2 cm and angle DBF =y degree.

Here’s a building that could use a makeover and perhaps even a name change. Regardless, the Maths Building is not one of the prettiest buildings around campus. Surely the University has some Maths Professor in its history books who would be deserving of his or her own building at the University of Glasgow. Any suggestions?... [read more...]
Bizarre. Engineered as a 6-seater with a Flat-6 2.8 litre engine. Appears to have no front pillars! Spotted at Retromobile 2005

Allegedly built back to front because the foundations were laid wrongly, resulting in the need to have the main entrance to the building on the first floor, at the top of a 25m ramp.
