Approximately 2,000 people attended College of DuPage’s inaugural STEM-CON event, an interactive conference celebrating the fields celebrating science, technology, engineering and math. The all-day event featured more than booths offering interactive activities designed to inform, entertain and stimulate an interest in STEM, including extracting DNA from a strawberry, a weather balloon launch, river system development, nanotechnology, the physics of flight and robotics.
I like how she's learning math. This is just one of the many ways they manipulate numbers. The 2 bits and the whole can go together in a bunch of ways, but they all mean the same thing.
I joined math team in junior high for the boys. Does that make me an even bigger dork?
There's a few people with no notes, and that's b/c they're not very memorable.

PTSA and faculty offered an evening of fun and engaging activities for kids of all ages, all with focus on math.
Hot dog dinner provided by PTSA was also available for a donation.

These gents put on quite an amazing live show. One of the best I have ever seen! Did a shoot for them at their Denver, CO show at the Fillmore. They have music that can be heard on the Twilight Soundtrack. Check out their cd, which can be found everywhere! HIghly recommended! :)
