I also teach functional math, which focuses on math skills that you need on a day-to-day basis. We do a lot of math with money since that is primarily when adults use math in everyday life. We also focus on elapsed time and real world problem solving using the four basic operations.

Street artist Banksy curated a gallery of subversive and satirical pieces based on theme parks. The gallery was located at Tropicana, itself a dismal shadow of its former self, a lido on the coast of the Severn Estuary at Weston-Super-Mare. Tropicana itself was closed around the turn of the 21st century, and has fallen into disrepair since. The installation was assembled largely in secret.

Another one of my early memories, I loved maths at school and love it in everyday things, we are governed by mathematics, light is governed by mathematics...that's what makes life so interesting, although some of you will be put off by this fact, most of you will realise this is a true statement, maths is fun, maths is photography.

"Stocktaking allows you to keep an accurate track of the physical stock you have, what’s been sold, and what hasn’t. It’s all about comparing the physical stock to what the report says then finding any discrepancies. Calculating wastage and allowances will then give you the whole picture as to what’s gone through the till, what’s been wasted, and what has been given away as complimentary."
