Flew out to California to shoot a mix of Engagement, Maternity, and Wedding over a weekend. These are some of the photos I took.

From a recent maternity shoot

A tiny sized Mamma-top/dress = big sized Helena top? ;) This is a maternity dress, size 36. Tight on top, loose on bottom, no surprise. The neckline was too small so I ripped open the seam and interfacing, then I sew a new line, larger, about 3 cm down on front, removing one button..

With the bigger neckline it is fitting better even on me of size 42.

I bought this at Reningsborg a few years ago but never wore it because it was too tight. Now I can wear it.

This was her idea and I just loved it! I took about 12 or so shots and I loved all of them. I had a hard time deciding which one to put up here.

I shot my third ever maternity shoot today. I am so happy over how it went. It was so much fun and I loved nearly every single picture I took.

This was my first maternity session, and we had so much fun! It was a first for all of us :) so we had to work through the first few minutes of being unsure, but as soon as we started discussing the new baby-to-be it was just fun and laughs and relaxed.

Edited in Lightroom. I'm working on creating my own presets, they're such time savers!

Another of my wife's ideas brought into life. I hope you like it.

Thank you all for your appreciation.

Some multi aperture triptychs from Sarah's maternity shoot.

I first met Ashley when I did her senior pictures a couple years ago. At the end of last school year, I did her sister’s senior pictures and found out that Ashley was pregnant. She told me then that she wanted me and only me to do pictures of her from now on – including her maternity pictures.

So now at 9 months pregnant and ready to deliver just about any time, she came to visit me this week.

My first maternity session. These clients couldn't have been any sweeter. Best part, I'll be taking their newborn photos in June!

Hi Everyone! These are from my first maternity session. I definitely learnt a lot doing this, but I would love any cc you all have. Thanks!

They had a great idea, placing artificial flowers in the water for their picture. Technical failure! The flowers sank. I managed to capture them from a distance before they did.

From my first maternity photoshoot. What do you think of the concept?

Pregnant squirrel eating one of our sunflowers. Of course I wasn't happy with the carnage in the garden. Our sunflowers were wrecked and there were remnants of flower buds all over the lawn. But I reached for the camera rather than chasing her away...

my first ever attempt at maternity photos. a tough tough thing.

Baby's love bubbles and water even before they are born!

This was my second maternity session. She was such a doll... I just loved working with both of them. The crazy thing is she's tiny and carrying twins!
