It's been a year since I posted one of my favorite photos( Marvel vs Dc Comics) and I wanted to do something special, specially because this year is a Superhero's year, with a lot of movies, tv shows and dolls.😄😄😄😄
This new build on New Oxford Street has some interesting materials and looks rather nice ... need to do a little research ...

Casi todos los lunes hay una circulación especial que nunca falla: el Sotoferro. Este peculiar tren lleva material diverso (generalmente plataformas portacoches) a reparar a la factoría de Sotoferro en las proximidades de Soto-El Real, en pleno Directo de Madrid a Burgos. Es la única circulación por el Directo más allá de Colmenar Viejo, lo cual se convierte en un aliciente más para fotografiarlo entre encinas entre Colmenar y Soto, rompiendo el silencio de los oxidados raíles del Madrid-Burgos.
En la imagen, la 333.357 arrastra una variada composición de plataformas en las proximidades de Colmenar. Agradecer a Ángel el mostrarme los mejores lugares para fotografiarlo.

In plants veins transport materials both to and from the plant tissues. In mammals however veins return blood back to the heart after it has traveled to parts of the body and delivered oxygen. The veins carry the deoxygenated blood
(which has picked up carbon dioxide on its journey) to the heart where it is again oxygenated for recirculation through the body via arteries. In plants veins perform both functions - they are a plant's life line, and plants are our life line.
During photosynthesis which requires light, plants produce and give off oxygen. At night when there is no light, plants absorb a small amount of oxygen and give off carbon dioxide; however overall, they produce many times more oxygen during the day than they consume at night. And that my friends, is what keeps us and our planet alive.
"In the process [photosynthesis], they produce oxygen, which constitutes a significant portion of the air we breathe so less plants means less recycling of
carbon dioxide and less oxygen production. Plants also give us food and fibers to make clothes and without photosynthesis, we would not be able to sustain the life we are living." Second of four shots of birds carrying nesting material. This big, beautiful hawk was perched atop a power pole, and watched me as I slowed to a stop and poked my lens out through the window of the rolling red Toyota blind. Then away it flew.
This was early April, with a lot of snow still on the ground and reflecting up to illuminate the hawk's underside, creating a bright, cheerful image. At other times of the year, the ground surface is green, or yellow, or brown, and the reflected light is both tinted and dimmer. Love the neutral light from the snow, and how it kept this raptor's white plumage tint-free.
I suppose a natural perch would have been preferable, but there are hundreds of power poles and fence poles for every tree in this part of the world. Of the four shots in this mini-series, only one will feature a bird perching on something that wasn't manmade. So it goes.

Beavers build dams and lodges using tree branches, vegetation, rocks and mud; they chew down trees for building material. Dams restrict water flow, and lodges serve as shelters. Their infrastructure creates wetlands used by many other species, and because of their effect on other organisms in the ecosystem, beavers are considered a keystone species.

Jack Delano (born Jacob Ovcharov; August 1, 1914 – August 12, 1997) was a Ukrainian immigrant who became an accomplished photographer for the Works Progress Administration, United Fund, and most notably, the Farm Security Administration (FSA). He wore many hats as he also was a composer known for his use of Puerto Rican folk material, started a television production company, and was a cartoonist, poet, moviemaker, professor, and architectural designer.
