La Zenit B è come la 3 M ( robuste e costruite con ottimi materiali ), sembrano difficili per la messa a fuoco ma poi in condizioni di luce scarsa sono migliori di altre reflex molto più costose, il vero limite di queste Zenit sono i tempi, sotto a 1/30 c'è solo la posa B

"Females build a well-insulated cup-shaped nest with soft, downy plant material. She camouflages the exterior with bits of lichen, moss, or bark fragments, which she binds together with spiderweb. On the outside, nests are 1.5-1.8 inches wide and just over an inch high. The inside of the nest has a diameter of 0.8 inches and is 0.6 inches deep. Females may reuse nests or build upon older nests in subsequent nesting attempts."

The Third ‘R’ – Recycling
The last stage of the waste hierarchy is to recycle.
To recycle something means that it will be transformed again into a raw material that can be shaped into a new item.
This was another sign of spring this week. The squirrel had quite the mouthful of nesting material. Happy Fence Friday!

En el pueblo de Pedreña (Cantabria) se ha erigido un monumento dedicado a las mujeres mariscadoras que se han dejado materialmente la vida con este durísimo trabajo en beneficio de todos los españoles.
It seems strange to be home again after being away for a couple of weeks! Anyway, I have accumulated a fair amount of new material from visiting both Cornwall and the Norfolk Broads. These were family, rather than photographic holidays; nevertheless, I made the most of opportunities for photography whenever I could.
Enys Dodnan is part of the famous rock formation at Lands End, Cornwall. I wanted to make an image that was different to the usual grand vista type shot.
It looks as though this greater coucal (centropus sinensis) is about to peck its way into a large fruit. Not true!! The bird was actually gathering nesting material by pulling off individual leaf fibres. Photographed in Khao Lak, Phang Nga, Thailand.
Wupatki National Monument in Arizona. These structures were abandoned about 1200 A.D., so to me, it's amazing that so many structures in this area are still standing.

The crew of BIP 178 performs their last job of the day spotting a cut of tank cars for Asphalt Materials Inc. near Marietta, OH. Once done, they'll head west to Blue Knob Rd. where the afternoon crew will take over for the trip into Parkersburg's High Yard.
Although there’s a chick in the nest, the adults are still bringing nesting material. I would love to be able to ask them why but I imagine that it makes the nest more comfortable, covering a the bottom that may have been soiled or have bits of food drawing insects. It’s not easy to see what’s happening in the nest and I have yet to see the chick, or chicks if there’s more than one. Hopefully we’ll soon see a head or two pop up. (Red-shouldered Hawk – (Buteo lineatus) (Sony a1, 200-600 lens @ 312mm, f/6.3, 1/5000 second, ISO 640)
We are not all cut from the same cloth,
but together we make a beautiful quilt.

New Holland Honeyeater
Phylidonyris novaehollandiae
With long, slender beaks and a tongue which can protrude well beyond the end of their beaks, New Holland Honeyeaters are able to probe for nectar in the deep flowers of Banksias and Grevilleas.
Calls: The voice comprises a loud 'chik', a fainter 'pseet' and some chattering notes. If danger, such as a bird of prey approaches, a group of honeyeaters will join together and give a loud alarm call.
Minimum Size: 18cm
Maximum Size: 18cm
Average size: 18cm
Average weight: 20g
Breeding season: any time of year; mainly summer and winter
Clutch Size: 2 to 3
Incubation: 18 days
Nestling Period: 16 days
Description: The New Holland Honeyeater is mostly black and white, with a large yellow wing patch and yellow sides on the tail. It has a small white ear patch, a thin white whisker at the base of the bill and a white eye. This honeyeater is an active bird, and rarely sits still long enough to give an extended view. Sexes are similar in looks, but females are slightly smaller in size. Young birds are browner and have a grey eye.
Similar species: One very similar species is the White-cheeked Honeyeater,Phylidonyris nigra. This species has a single large white cheek patch and a dark eye. The two species frequently occur together.
Distribution: The New Holland Honeyeater's range extends throughout southern Australia, from about Brisbane, Queensland, to just north of Perth, Western Australia.
Habitat: The New Holland Honeyeater is common in heath, forests, woodland and gardens, mainly where grevilleas and banksias are found. It is inquisitive and approaches humans. It also mixes with other types of honeyeaters.
Feeding: New Holland Honeyeaters are active feeders. They mostly eat the nectar of flowers, and busily dart from flower to flower in search of this high-energy food. Other food items include fruit, insects and spiders. Birds may feed alone, but normally gather in quite large groups. Most feeding takes place in lower areas of bushes and thickets.
Breeding: The New Holland Honeyeater's cup-shaped nest is made of bark and grasses, bound together with spider web. It is lined with soft material and is placed in a bush or tree, anywhere from ground level up to 6 m. Both sexes feed the chicks. A pair of adults may raise two or three broods in a year.

Ho ascoltato il loro disagio per il lavoro, per la casa e per le solitudini.
Ho ascoltato i loro bisogni di serenità con la ricerca di aggregazione, del ricongiungimento con la propria famiglia e del diritto ad essere madri.
Siamo donne diverse per le culture e per le storie di cui siamo impregnate ma siamo uguali nei bisogni come linguaggio universale.
