En este caso usé toda mi artillería para acercarme al máximo a esta mini cerilla, que es de unos 2 cm de largo, calculo que en la foto aparece la mitad. Usé mi Zuiko 38mm macro, el duplicador de focal x2 de la Pen FT y por último la lente Raynox DCR-250.

I wanted to do something more creative this week so I made a little matchstick man. I had him doing all sorts of things, watering flowers, trudging through the forest, and even dancing. I settled on him walking a "tightrope". We all walk a tightrope in our lives at times, but here we are, safe and on the other side. :)
Behind the scenes: As you can guess, I glued everything but the little man. ;) I could have broken the matchstick, I think but it wasn't breaking where and how I wanted. I decided to cut the sticks instead and glue them together. I don't think I ever do anything the easy way. HAHA!

Taken for the Macro Monday theme of Matchstick. As it is the longest day of summer and some people celebrate at Stonehenge thought I would do a matchstick version! HMM!

Another one of my Macro Monday outtakes. I know, I said this before but I was really inspired by the theme "Flame". I love fire. Maybe that is why I married a fire fighter? Haha! ;)

The L.S.Lowry "Matchstick Man and his Dog" sculpture at Knott End, Lancashire at sunset on the longest day of the Year 2022.
Apparently Lowry visited Knott End frequently between the 1940's and 50's staying at boarding houses on the sea front. He became a familiar figure with the locals making sketches of scenes here. 3 of his famous pieces were of Knott End, with the "Jetty at Knott End" painted in 1957 being perhaps the most notable.
This statue of "the Matchstick Man and his dog" was funded by Preesall Town Council and made by apprentices at the WEC Group in Darwen, Lancashire and unveiled here in 2015.

Streichholzlänge gesamt ca. 9,5 cm, zu sehen sind ca. 5 cm.
Zum Fotografieren brennender Streichhölzer nehme ich immer die längeren, um mir nicht zu schnell die Finger zu verbrennen.
Total match length approx. 9.5 cm, approx. 5 cm can be seen.
When photographing burning matches, I always take the longer ones so as not to burn my fingers too quickly.
