For once I was not asked by this couple if I'd take their picture, they opted for the arms length self-portrait technique. It's like because you're wandering around with a big camera bag and a DSLR you obviously must know what you're doing. Once they hand you their tiny little compact the first thing you have to do normally is ask them how to turn it on....

As we waited for our daughter to finish with our granddaughter's check-up at the doctor
we met this lovely family looking for the Children's Museum. I was happy to give them
directions and visit with them a minute. They have moved to Texas from Ohio and live
northwest of Houston actually not too far from me. They were enjoying a picnic lunch
together in Houston's beautiful Hermann Park near the Medical Center when I first
spied them. Mary made their matching outfits which I found to be very creative!!! The
more I look at the outfits to more I luv them... denim & cotton... two very Texas fabrics
for sure!!! And you know I am loving the cowboy boots on Abby and Moses along with
his awesome cowboy hat and vest. A lovely family which I was so very happy that our
paths crossed and for the chance to help them on their way and to make them one of
my "100 Strangers". Hope you had a wonderful blessed day on your family outing!!!

I know Barbie could get Ken to do a lot of unsavory things...but matching outfits? Actually Ken's outift isn't that bad, but Barbie's jacket? Perhaps it doubled as a signal flag if the boat went down.

We were a large group that day of teachers from my school and visitors from other schools in Europe. These fellas offered to take our photo. They were comical.
So Nita came over from Sunday to Tuesday, and again from Friday to Sunday. I've had these pants for years, and i found the exact same pair (tags still on) at a yard sale for $4 in Nita's size. I didn't know it was the exact same pair until i got home, but Nita was so excited to have matching pants. So we wore them together out to dinner with our parents. Having a little sister is so much fun!!
And also, here is the new fridge. And you can see a little sneak peak of the kitchen, too - where we threw out the dishwasher and stuck our microwave in its place...
Tomorrow i think i'm going to do 30 secrets in 30 days, i wonder if anyone cares to know my secrets??
