Mom: Oh, that's cute. Look at how smiley they are. I still have that mirror, you know?
Me: Where?
Mom: In my dining room.
Me: Over the credenza?
Mom: Yeah. I think it's the same one. I'll check later on.
Me: I see cakes in the back.
Mom: Yes, I probably baked something for wherever we were going. Probably to Nanny's. I probably would've baked my lemon pound cake. I'm sad I've never found it. It was a really good lemon pound cake. And then I think I would've also made a layer-type cake?
Cute to see this couple, dressed identically from head to toe, strolling around Coconut Grove. Go 'Canes!
I was standing in an early morning line at a coffee shop's walk-up window when these three women joined the line. I laughingly hazarded a couple of guesses regarding their clothes; they corrected me to say that they had just had a sleep-over connected to their participation in a wedding later that day. Thanks, girls, for the photo and good cheer.
Looks like they had a sale on bolts of drapery material at the fabric store. Vintage image of a group of seven women all wearing the same pattern robe. Looks like they ran out of fabric for the gal in the top left. No information on where or what this is about, but experience tells me this is probably Eastern European. In any event, it is odd and I felt it was worth posting. This found photograph is from the private collection of an unknown and/or unknowing art collector. It’s always a thrill when it’s from Vinnie DeVille!

FROM THE BACK COVER-
The Songmasters Quartet had its beginning in the fall of 1964 with Jerry Dallin, Robbinsdale, Minnesota, managing and singing 2nd tenor. His wife Ginger Lee from Grand Marais, Minnesota, sings the 1st tenor. Joining in with the baritone part is Weyland Nordlander from Hopkins, Minnesota, and Bill Lundsten of Silver Bay, Minnesota renders the bass notes. Gary Gerber, pianist and arranger, is from Anoka, Minnesota.
Viewed frequently on the Soul's Harbor Telecast and almost weekly in Soul's Harbor Church, the group travels on weekends as much as possible, singing the praises of God and testifying of His live for a lost world. Each member works a full time job as well.

The child on the right, incredibly blonde, is in the midst of a full-blown attack of gravitas. I'm starting to wonder if a serious expression, or even a scowl, has become the default facial expression in our society. I find it sad...
