Squacco heron hunting in the marsh.

Mr. Blaise Barton, towards the end of the day.

Lighting setup: 1 handheld 580 at 1/8 power (I think) over my head bounced off ceiling. PTlens and PS Transform - Warp to try and get the verticals right. I think I'm close but not perfect. Kinda hot on the ceiling in the mirror reflection.

Any good?

Believe it or not, she has made this rangoli by hand. You can see the colours and the printout of the picture on the side. To emphasize that, just did some selective coloring. One of the best rangoli, I have seen in my life.

This is called cryptic camouflage and this fish was the master of it during my dives at Anilao. The best camouflaged fish of the holiday! The fish is about 25cm in length, so quite large too.

Can you find it?

Canon EOS 5D II on a tripod. 3 exposures (-2, 0,+2) and then Photomatix, import into photoshop, layering all 3 exposures+ the tone mapped photo. Post-processing in CS5 with Topaz Adjust and Topaz Denoise to get as close to what I saw when I was there. And finishing touches in Lightroom.

Thank you so much for coming to Paonia this weekend. The seminars were very inspiring and it was fun to see my fellow work-out partners having the advantage of working with you, since I find my workouts with you a big reason why I have improved my karate.

I know how valuable your time is, so I am happy that we finally could do this. It was a very great honor and a good weekend. www.brucelee.com
