Pic by random course marshal who was actually NICE. Hmmm...once Margarita left the course marshals where much nicer to us. It probably had to do with the drastic decrease in LOUD laughter and talking.
Oct. 2006. Dylan was in chemo for his 2nd battle with cancer and preparing for a stem cell transplant. Master Rugh was his Tai Kwon Do master (Dylan reached black belt when he was 11 years old). Master Rugh arrived bearing gifts from the American Tai Kwon Do championship team. Dylan is wearing the 2006 gold medal given to him by the 1st place winner.
On Monday, Dec. 17th dylan learned that the cancer has re-emerged for the third time. His years in TKD taught him many things - including strength, competition, coordination, and the ability to focus. these things will help him again and he will win. for dylan theres no other option.

Masters store located on the corner of North Lake Road and Phoenix Road - one of nine stores in Western Australia for the Woolworths-Lowes (USA) joint venture in hardware. Opened in mid 2012 it was located in a cutting partially obscured from the road opposite Adventure World theme park. Heavy losses against incumbent rival Bunnings in part due to an aggressive expansion (often next to Bunnings stores such as this one) and low sales have seen Woolworths abandon the category altogether and announce closure of the chain by early December 2016 with a liquidation sale starting August of the year. These shots were taken early in the closing down sale.
The stores (including several development sites) have been sold to Home Consortium who will reconfigure the sites to a combination of Spotlight, Anaconda, JB Hi Fi, The Good Guys and Woolworths supermarkets. Rival Bunnings will take over 15 of the 61 stores open. Liquidation is being carried out by the Great American Group with evidence seen in the large 'STORE CLOSING' and 'GOING OUT OF BUSINESS' signs more commonly seen in the closing of large stores in the United States.
Master Shi Xing Qing (Master Sui) is the schools headmaster and is a 32nd generation Shaolin Monk and the school master for internal Shaolin Kung Fu and qigong. Master Sui is currently level 8 and specializes in Xingyi, Shaolin Da Dao, Shaolin Lepard forms, Qigong, Yi Jin Jing, Bagua and Chen Style Taichi.
He has come 1st in Shaolin Da Dao, 70kg open fight category, 75kg open fight category and lepard fist at provincial level. He is currently the administrative vice president of the Kunyu Shan cultural research association and vice managing deputy president of Yantai Martial Arts Association.

A long time photographer, I did a professional course back in the late '70s, and am now building up my business to (hopefully!) make me some income in retirement. I’d love to have done this earlier in my life and urge young photographers to go for it!
My equipment consists of full frame Canon DSLRs, plus medium format digital (Hasselblad).
I shoot mainly landscapes, with nature/wildlife running a close second, and I am interested in steam trains, historic buildings/structures,; domestic animals, sport including surfing.
After 32 years in and around our nation’s cold capital, Canberra, I now live on the beautiful (and sunny) Tweed / Gold Coast and can take photos on demand of the many stunning and unique locations here.
