Personal Project
My new friend Philip is a huge Halo fan, just like me. However, I think the fandom goes more in his favor, as he made this Master Chief suit out of paper.
Paper. He made it out of paper.
It's incredible to see in person, and when he sent me a snapshot of it, I knew I had to photograph it.
This is personal work, much like the Legend of Zelda and Wolverine series' I did over the last few years.
I had a total blast making these images.

Tore out the 90s style soffit that had recessed lights above the vanity. Will be replaced with 2 sconces

A very briefly active member of the Master Travel of Welwyn Garden City was this former Trent Leyland National (still with it's 510 engine) FRA 520V, seen here outside their yard that they had for a while in Stevenage.
Having just come back from his school run, the driver very kindly allowed me to take this photo before he reversed it into the yard.
It wasn't long however, before she ended up dumped and withdrawn at the back of the yard to eventually disappear, I suspect, to the great bus station in the sky.....
Photo taken sometime in 2003, at which time Leyland Nationals were pretty thin on the ground......

Shot with a Zeiss Ikon Contessa LK fitted with a Carl Zeiss Tessar 50mm f/2.8 lens, loaded with Fujichrome Sensia 100 transparency film and scanned with a Nikon Super Coolscan LS-5000ED.
Black bears are masters of disappearing right before your eyes. You can watch them along a road and when they go in the brush, BAM, their gone. Well, this black bear hasn't got his technique down yet, we can still see him in hiding.
Masters store located on Thompsons Road near the South Gippsland Highway intersection which is one of 18 stores in Victoria for the Woolworths-Lowes (USA) joint venture in hardware. Opened in 2015 it was built within the Cranbourne Homemaker Centre immediately next door to an established Bunnings store. Heavy losses against incumbent rival Bunnings in part due to an aggressive expansion (often next to Bunnings stores such as this one) and low sales have seen Woolworths abandon the category altogether and announce closure of the chain by early December 2016 with a liquidation sale starting August of the year. These shots were taken early in the closing down sale.
The stores (including several development sites) have been sold to Home Consortium who will reconfigure the sites to a combination of Spotlight, Anaconda, JB Hi Fi, The Good Guys and Woolworths supermarkets. Rival Bunnings will take over 15 of the 61 stores open. Liquidation is being carried out by the Great American Group with evidence seen in the large 'STORE CLOSING' and 'GOING OUT OF BUSINESS' signs more commonly seen in the closing of large stores in the United States.
