I've recently finally began playing the blockbuster game Halo, and became very fond of it, so I did a sketch of the main character Master Chief.
This is a newly constructed villa that I shot for the real estate company marketing it. The view straight out through the window only showed sliding doors and the sea view, so I thought this perspective offered more information. It's a shift lens panorama made up of two frames. Four flash pops altogether. I lit the interior of the walk-in closet, provided some fill on the right, and threw some light into the bathroom from the terrace. The final pop was for the window pull. Composite using one Profoto B1.

Brewing beer is obviously a serious business - and so it should be. Against a background of old copper vats, this worker was helping produce Eritrea’s finest beverage in the brewery at Asmara.

Here's a shot of the figure with a LEGO hairpiece that I think looks good on it ;)
People have been asking to see it with this, so I thought I'd post it. It also gives a better picture of the full design in the front, as well?

Well, I finally padded the inside with cut up squares of mattress top from target. It is comfortable, but very hot.

I've still yet to get a decent sharp shot of the elusive little Treecreeper that I love so much...so this one will have to do for now, They are so small and quick and well camouflaged...tricky little characters ;-))

I enjoyed the research on this, but more extensive editing than what I'm presented me eluded me for 4 hours today, and I'm yielding. This is in the style of Pieter Claesz,who featured lemons in several of his works. I zoomed in on only that, since he also included oysters (way over my price range this week). I specifically zeroed in on this from looking at an image done modernly by Daniel Chiriac to guide me on lighting, etc. SB900 through a small soft box above and slightly right, SB600 cam right above and through an umbrella. Fired by pop-up flash in commander mode.
When life gives you lemons, and there's no vodka in the house, you take photos, I guess

This is Abby. She is a prodigy at the piano... Greg Maroney, the master looks on. We were blessed to be invited to a house concert at the home of Greg yesterday. Greg's work accompanies me quite often when I process my photography. Abby played beautifully.

don't worry I only have another two hundred photos of this dress and me in it of course.
This reminds me of those old masters I use to look upon in the art galleries. the way the they caught the light bouncing of the heavy duchess satins the low lights in the folds of the materials the pure ostentatious extravagance of those dresses that I longed to wear myself. How I wished I was one of those ladies back then.

The torso is coming along well, if slowly. Luckily all the grays in the world should be arriving at my house soon, in addition to the already huge amount of BL orders I've received. Optimistically, I'll be done with it by tomorrow, but I'll more likely be done by next week.
So I finished the belt, and I am running seriously low on gray bricks and plates. To Bricklink! This is the last WIP photo I'll upload until I get back from Florida. It's coming along slowly, but with very pleasing results! I estimate completion by April or May. Alex, have no fear. A building by me will be amongst those at Brickworld!
