- Hyper-realistic art. Apple, blue butterfly and masking tape. And the amazing translucent drops dripping down the canvas!
I made this painting during the whole Hurricane Irene scare. Even though I figured we wouldn't see too much from it, I insisted on preparing a "hurricane survival kit" just in case. We didn't end up needing it, but I felt way better about the whole thing knowing we'd be alright if we did. I put tape on the black canvas, painted, and then pulled up the tape to create the white spaces. I used a bottle cap of some sort for the white circles.
I am so glad I managed to take a (quick) look at the exhibition before it ends.

Again based on J Trav's Persona set fits in well with my project. This is the portrait i took to use in the first place it is more crisp than the first but he doesn't like it because i caught him off-guard. J Trav's set can be found here:

Very high-bond double-sided adhesives are utilized in attaching overlapping layers of metal skins to the plane's frame. Thus this kind of tape is so robust that it will typically be used as an alternate to different fastening choices, like rivets, spot welds, and liquid adhesives.
Tgoldkamp offers numerous forms of adhesive VHB tapes such as 3M™ VHB™ Adhesive Transfer Tape, 3M™ VHB™ heavy Duty Mounting Tape, 3M™ VHB™ Bonding Tape. These tapes are having excellent durability and excellent solvent and wetness resistance. The final purpose adhesive on each side is appropriate for high surface energy substrates together with metal, glass, and high surface energy plastics.
