Got my Marvel Legends Apocalypse wave Psylocke yesterday and Wolverine today and thought I'd share some pics and impressions.
First up is Wolverine. He's a short little figure which is perfect and he looks pretty stocky to me. He's pretty much the exact same mold as Brown Costume Wolverine but with a different head and different arms. He comes with two sets of hands. Clenched with claws out (claws are removable) and clenched with claws retracted. He also comes with the back tubes for Apocalypse.
I know there were some people that wanted his colors to be a bit more lemon yellow but the color they've gone with is great. He color matches Jim Lee Cyclops really well, this is the best Wolverine Hasbro has done I think. Really glad I got him.
A few days before Burning Man 1999, my friend Michael convinced me that we should go to 'this big party that they're having in the desert' that occurred during my birthday (September 3rd). We had like zero money and he magically found a credit card on the floor of a 7-11..uhhh, 5 or 6 hours later we found ourselves inside the Man and quickly learned to barter our artistic talents for things like beer, food, and magic mushrooms.

Carlinville, Illinois gifted me with several unexpected and welcome surprises on my trek through Route 66 in Illinois. This is one of them. The Marvel Theatre was originally built in the 1920s, served time as a drive-in, burned, and was reincarnated. It still shows first-run movies, and is also now known as Cinema 1 and 2. Cinematreasures.org has more information.
An editorial: one of the problems affecting the operation of drive-ins and theatres such as the Marvel is the increasing cost of converting to digital format in order to show first-run movies. For some drive-ins and theatres, sadly, the cost of conversion can never be recouped, and so the decision is often made to show second- or third-run movies, or tragically, to close altogether or have a reduced season.

She's been called many things over the years: mutie, terrorist, shape-shifter, Jennifer Lawrence.
As a shape-shifter and former leader of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Mystique is one of the deadliest assassins out there. You definitely don't wanna get on her bad side.
What do you think of Mystique's character in the comics?
Have fun, and happy collecting!
Carol Danvers of Captain Marvel fame has had a long history in the Marvel Universe. She began as a supporting character in the first Captain Marvel series in the kate 1960's and early 1970's but she eventually gained super powers and became Ms. Marvel! She eventually became a card carrying member of the Avengers. From there she lost her powers and was stricken with amnesia only to become an ally and supporting character in the X-Men comics! While helping the X-Men battle an alien race, The Brood, she was embedded with the power of a star and became Binary, Those powers were eventually diminished leaving her to rejoin the Avengers as Warbird! Now she's back as the new Captain Marvel! Of course none of that is in the MCU version of character! &CC Toys released their version of the character called Lady M
A few Marvel characters with new parts:
Elektra - started this because of the new hair, also decided to try out the arms/head
Luke Cage - finally took an eraser to an extra pair of Pizzaman Scarecrow arms.
Jewel - new hair, but also new torso and hips that I'm really happy with
Hellcat - "new" old April O'Neil torso I got from BL
Misty Knight - new hair from the CMF along with a new head/C3PO arm
Driven by Lance Hunter, bought with some of the cash given to him as payment for agreeing to hand Phil Coulson over to the Anti-S.H.I.E.L.D Task Force.
