Attended a game at the beautiful Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas where the Houston Astros hosted the Seattle Mariners. The game was pretty tight, but went to the visiting Seattle Mariners by the score of 4-1. Great game, great stadium and a great day to be at a ballpark. Maybe that was the $1 hot dogs talking!

Laura, Beth, and I enjoyed a baseball game at Safeco Field in Seattle. The hometown Mariners defeated the visiting Chicago White Sox 6-4. Ken Griffey Jr. drove in two runs and Kenji Johjima hit the the game winning two-run homer in the bottom of the 6th. Griffey always plays well when we have the privilege to watch him. Back on September 14, 1990 we watched Ken Griffey Sr. and Ken Griffey Jr. hit back-to-back homeruns for the Mariners in a road game against Anaheim. This was the first and only time in MLB history that a father and son hit back-to-back homers. The Anaheim pitcher that was victimized by the father-son duo was Kirk McCaskill.

We came down here a bit early and missed all the action as the bullpen was fairly busy throughout the game due to the Mariners' pitching woes. In contrast, Cleveland's Cliff Lee pitched a complete game.

Mariners' game i went to, outside the stadium an hour before the Athletics' game, thought it looked cool from my phone.

they won too :DDDDD

Mariner of the Seas - - - May 2006

Located nearby Central Park West & W85th St.

One of my most often used gates as it is the entrance that leads to the Great Lawn. At the north end, called "Top of the Lawn" (TotL), we share sidewalk astronomy in Central Park.

Convenient also for Summit Rock, at 141 feet, the highest elevation in Central Park, save for being at the top of Belvedere Castle atop of Vista Rock (140'). Compare with Great Hill (134') just inside of Stranger's Gate.
