Mount Marapi, also known as Merapi or Berapi (Gunuang Marapi in Minang language), is a volcano located in West Sumatra, Indonesia.
I created this map using the QGIS application. QGIS is a free and open source mapping application. Here I make use of the elevation data model sourced from SRTM. Create a topographic classification class based on contour lines in the area to see the elevation. another one finished?
maybe?!
this is the "interactive" map; the left bottom corner is a list of the lower 48, circles to check for states you intend to see and states you manage to visit.
too simple?
not obvious that it's interactive?
any advice would be awesome!
