I've posted maps of this before, but this set has the exits, not just the general route. Alternative A would have run just north of Ashby for most of the length.

Oil on canvas. Bogota, 2012.

this is how I get there. The orange is the 'scenic' route, the red gives you a slightly more urban feel. Either is made easier on a bike. (isn't life made generally better on a bike?)

Oh, and this is really an image created for help in understanding this set. (specifically I made it for this group, too)

Egged on by Catriona I deployed a very "Heath Robinson" moth trap last night. The problem this morning was getting them on to something photogenic.. most took off! But I was pleased it worked. This was not the sharpest!

Have a look at Catriona's lovely images www.flickr.com/photos/catriona_pictures/ and the super selection of beautiful moths that she has trapped (and set free of course!!)

A series of walking maps are being installed in Guildford, and yesterday, it was the turn of the 'Bus Station' one to be installed - you can see it to the right of the photo.

This involved parking lots of vehicles and machinery at the entrance of the bus station, so buses struggled to get by.

Buses were making it past, until long VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 3758 (YJ08 DZH) turned up on the 34 and got stuck.
