Manufacturing Job Loss Community Forum in Kitchener, Ontario - May 23, 2007

El Passatge de les Manufactures és un passatge que uneix els carrers de Trafalgar (26) i el carrer de Sant Pere més alt (31). Va ser obert el 1878 pel fabricant de teixits Joan Cirici. En el seu interior hi havia el Bar Pasajes i algunes petites botigues, incloent un rellotger, però van anar tancant i el Passatge de les Manufactures va entrar en decadència. El passatge de les Manufactures tancava durant la nit i els dies festius. L'adquisició de les finques que eren travessades pel passatge per una cadena hotelera va implicar el tancament del passatge temporalment. Tot va ser reformat integrament i el Passatge de les Manufactures ha recuperat l'esplendor que havia perdut al llarg dels anys.

El Passatge de les Manufactures (Pasaje de las Manufacturas, también Pasaje de la Industria) es un pasaje que une las calles de Trafalgar (26) y la calle de Sant Pere més alt (31). Fue abierto en 1878 por el fabricante de tejidos Joan Cirici. En su interior estaba el Bar Pasajes y algunas pequeñas tiendas, incluyendo un relojero, pero fueron cerrando y el Pasaje de las Manufacturas entró en decadencia. El pasaje de las Manufacturas cerraba durante la noche y los días festivos. La adquisición de las fincas que eran atravesadas por el pasaje por una cadena hotelera implicó el cierre del pasaje temporalmente. Todo fue reformado íntegramente y el Pasaje de las Manufacturas ha recuperado el esplendor que había perdido a lo largo de los años.

The Ontario government is welcoming a $141 million investment from Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Ltd. (Coke Canada Bottling) to renovate and expand its flagship manufacturing, distribution and sales centre located in Brampton. The expansion will introduce a new state-of-the-art production line, capable of producing at least 20 million additional cases annually, creating up to 500 good-paying jobs during construction and reinforcing the province’s position as a leader in beverage manufacturing and agri-food production.

Le gouvernement de l’Ontario accueille favorablement un investissement de 141 millions de dollars de Compagnie d'embouteillage Coca-Cola Canada Limitée (Coke Canada Bottling) visant à rénover et agrandir son centre phare de fabrication, de distribution et de ventes situé à Brampton.
