100 axle lines CHINAHEAVYLIFT SPMTs assist 3200t giant bridge section roll onto the barge
www.chinaheavylift.com/news/100-axle-lines-chinaheavylift...
April 11 – With the strong support from CHINAHEAVYLIFT SPMT, our client Guangdong LIFT Engineering Machinery Co.,Ltd(GPEC) was contracted by Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry to transport 3,200t giant bridge section roll-on to barge for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge project in Zhongshan city, Guangdong province.
This giant bridge section, which total weighed 3,200 tonnes and had the dimensions 132.6 m x 33.1 m, were transported from the fabrication facility yard to the barge by using total 100-axle lines SPMTs. So, how to move this giant steel structure onto the barge safely and accurately? As there’s over 20m distance from the bridge section and barge, crane is not suitable for this project. Based on the analysis of actual situation, our client GPEC choose the better solution of CHINAHEAVYLIFT S2.43 Self Propelled Modular Transporters(SPMT), which is more cost-effective and easier to operate.
Detail CHINAHEAVYLIFT SPMT transport system configuration:
100 axle lines S2.43 SPMT (10 units – 6 lines module, 10 units – 4 lines module) compose 4 big SPMT module
4 PPU (390kw Mercedes Benz engine for Power Pack Unit)
1 Wireless Remote control
Normally it will take 5-6 hours to roll-on, but in this project, we need complete the whole process in 2 hours as the reason of Tidal influence. Also, high precision is essential for roll-on, deviation is controlled smaller than 5mm in every 100m movement. This requires everyone and every steps close-cooperation and no mistake permitted.
The most difficult is, when SPMT move onto the barge, the barge will swing and tilt with the change of weight. So how to keep balance? Thanks to the hydraulic steady system of CHINAHEAVYLIFT SPMT, which adopt reliable Germany brand main components and have hydraulic compensation stroke of approx. 700mm (±350mm). Hydraulic support cylinder on suspension is connected to each other by steel pipes and hose. With a cut-off valve (ball valve) for grouping the hydraulic cylinder. Support system is set to three hydraulic group according to cargo weight, center of gravity location and road conditions. This ensures a uniform axle load in Uneven road when traveling. Besides, the barge is equiped with pressurized cabin to outward drainage to ensure the balance.
Through two hours efforts, CHINAHEAVYLIFT SPMT successfully assist the 3200t giant bridge section roll-onto the barge, this is the first step of HZMB CB02 project, one historic move in Chinese Bridge Construction area. But For CHINAHEAVYLIFT, just another case with SPMT.

The Indy, code-named "Guinness", is a low-end workstation introduced on 12 July 1993. Developed and manufactured by Silicon Graphics Incorporated (SGI), it was the result of their attempt to obtain a share of the low-end computer-aided design (CAD) market, which was dominated at the time by other workstation vendors; and the desktop publishing and multimedia markets, which were mostly dominated at the time by Apple Computer. It was discontinued on 30 June 1997 and support ended on 31 December 2011.

Retrocomputing (a portmanteau of retro and computing) is the use of early computer hardware and software today. Retrocomputing is usually classed as a hobby and recreation rather than a practical application of technology; enthusiasts often collect rare and valuable hardware and software for sentimental reasons. However some do make use of it.[1] Retrocomputing often gets its start when a computer user realizes that expensive fantasy systems like IBM Mainframes, DEC Superminis, SGI workstations and Cray Supercomputers have become affordable on the used computer market, usually in a relatively short time after the computers' era of use.

The Innocenti company manufactured motor scooters after WW2. In the late fifties they signed an agreement with BMC to import, assemble and sell Austin A35's A40's followed by the Mini and the 1100 range. By the mid 1970's the Innocenti mini was loosing ground to the Fiat 127, which had the useful facility of a hatchback. So, using the mini floorpan, subframes and mechanicals, the Italian designer Bertone penned this pretty little hatchback body.
At this time the company was wholly owned subsiduary of British Leyland. It had been planned to replace the original Mini in the UK, with this hatchback, the body shells having identical holes for both left and right hand drive to facilitate this. However the then current government released the funds to allow the larger Metro to be built. So that was the end of that. The last Leyland model Innocenti manufactured was the Allegro, which for the mainland Europe market was renamed the Regent (I think).
With the break up of the Leyland empire, Innocenti was sold to the designer of its body, Bertone. It continued in production for a few more years, but using Daihatsu mechanicals and its 993 three cylinder petrol or diesel engines.

Corbeil School Bus Manufacturing Plants and Corbeil School Bus restoration shops will replace all gun factories due to that guns MUST BE BANNED due to guns have been used for a lot of scary inappropriate angry behaviors and evil purposes. It is okay to get angry but it is not okay to aim guns, it is not okay to tell people to shut up, it is not okay to yell god dam hell or god in hell, it is not okay to smack people or hit people, it is not okay call someone a bad boy when they are not. And especially that we need more Corbeil School Buses to appear in this world to make schools friendly as an addition to getting rid of mean teachers that yell at students and Bogen Multicom 2000 systems and bringing back the electric mechanical wall bells.

Manufactured by the Lavec Industrial Corporation, Taipei, Taiwan, with an American office in Wilmington, California, probably in the mid-1980s.
The glass lens is fixed focus; one shutter speed, no "T" setting, four apertures, 5.6 (unusual for a trash camera), 8, 11, 16. Does have a hot shoe and provision for a cable release.
Apparently it has a lead-weighted bottom to make it feel more like a quality camera.

Royal Spartanette trailer home (1951), manufactured by the Spartan Aircraft company of Tulsa Oklahoma, formerly owned by the architect John Carl Warnecke and sheltered in a custom roof-and-porch structure designed by him. Apparently, this was originally acquired to serve as the firm's field office for the UC Santa Cruz master plan (that would be circa 1963), and was such a hit that Warnecke relocated it to the family property to serve as a guest cottage. At the time of these photos, it was among the venues sometimes used for artists in the Chalk Hill Residency, and by visiting researchers such as myself. Working in the archives all day and retiring here at night was an incredibly comfortable and fulfilling way to spend several midsummer days - I remain grateful to have had the opportunity.
