Another cheap lens experiment. This Konica standard-alternative lens is only 2.7 cm long, and has been called the "sharpest lens ever made for 35mm cameras". It now runs about $20-30 from eBay.
Hexanon lenses have a mount that allows them to be fitted to 4/3 dSLR bodies directly, with a little modification of the lens. I used the cardboard shim method. However, I ended up not using the baffle, as it seemed to increase the chance of blocking the prism from returning to its rest position.
Other methods used by others have included machined brass and bent wire.
