On a photowalk, a random dude saw me with my Mamiya and ran up and asked me to come take some pictures to celebrate an anniversary. When I came in he told everyone he'd hired me as a gift. What a ballsy move.

A small species of Peacock spider (Maratus) still un named or described by science. This species was originally discovered by friend Stuart Harris in the Canberra region .

It has recently been found in multiple areas of NSW and southern QLD.

This paricular shot was taken with my 5DMK2 and Canons MPe 65mm macro lens whilst this little fella was dancing about trying to get the attention of nearby female.Spider is only around 3 to 4mm in size.A little Gem.

To all my friends and family in the US of A, make space for that dinner by going for a walk, run or bike ride. Happy Thanksgiving!

The only real reason I took this photo was due to walking past the squirrel multiple days in a row. I had the idea of taking more photos of it as it decayed, but I got lazy and realized it would be sort of hard to frame it exactly right each time.
