This is a picture of my mum and her siblings back in 1979 when she was my age. I would love to go back and meet her when she was younger but since I've yet to discover a time machine, putting myself into this photo is my next best option :)

This is not my image. It is lo2006's photo. If you like my manipulation, give him the fav, not me... I'm just playing photoshop games with it for fun.

I loved the look of this tree photo in his image stream. It is already perfect. I think of this as an alternate persepctive on an already awsome photo.

As you can see, I've adjusted the shadows, highlights, saturation and contrast to bring out some detail of the tree. I also added some clouds that "lean" in the opposite direction than the horizon. The last touch was a difuse glow. That seemed to give it the softness I was looking for and provided extra highlights on the grass which was a pleasant suprise.

Just a little manipulation for this manipulation game, using one image of bottle from spiralz, gracefully available under a Creative Common license.

I first desaturated it and made it lighter then I merged both images with three layers as following: (top to bottom)
