This is part of large number of photographs Janet took during a five day stay at Blue Hole near Wimberly. It was shot just down stream from the swimming hole. I did the manipulation to simulate a watercolor effect for inclusion in an autobiographical piece I was putting together on my photography.
Thanks Anisha :)

Manipulation of a primary image of stuffed tights on photoshop to enhance the abstract body forms within the image. This piece is taken from a series I did whilst investigating female subjectivity and the male objectification of the female body, particularly in early surrealist art. I have layered 2 images of stretched, hanging tights and altered the transparency and filters, creating a body form from an inanimate object.
