#34 on the NRHP District nomination form. Played many basketball games at the gymnasium at the rear of the building. The police department once occupied the second floor. A new building was built on Lower Weldon Street in the late eighties. It was no doubt due to the mingling of arraignments and the general public which was emphasized by an incident I witnessed while walking home for lunch. A group of young students was on a field trip to visit city hall and they were out front when an officer was leading a handcuffed man up the steps. A young man exhibited his curiosity by exclaiming loudly, “What’d HE do? What’d HE do?” To his credit, the officer pretended not to hear him.

The slope of the street has necessitated the placing of a piece of wood under one of the stiles of the ladder. I had to wait for a while to take this shot as so many people were walking up and down the street - it looks a bit dodgy to me :(

Had such a good time today at Man Up!today in Palo Alto. Met up at the caltrain station about 11 and headed to Stanford to watch so many people get buck. There were heads from sf, stockton, san jose, sacramento (aside from me) and a few other spots around the state. Way too many sick tricks went down to be listed went but trust me...the Destroy dudes made it one hell of a time. Dawson's bar off the Chrome Van at the end of the day was huge. Everyone who rode the spots threw down. Kids were going harder at this event than ever. I only snapped a few photos because I was in video mode most of the day. Ill get to that tomorrow so in the meantime enjoy these few flicks I managed to get. Huge thanks to Kenny and the Destroy dudes and BHSK for having me be a part of this! Bed time now more tomorrow.

The Canon EOS 5D Mark II EF 24-105/4L IS USM was my workhorse until I got the Nikon D800 & D800E with the 70-200 mm 2.8 VR2 zoom.
Canon, Nikon, you can't go wrong with the pretty 45surf model goddesses! (Though the D800 is my new love.)
