On our way back to Lincoln, Sam and I made a pitstop in Fairmont to get a long exposure shot of 2457, the 60M that Manning Rail had purchased and patched. Probably one of the cleanest patches you'll see.
Note the light coming in from the right there illuminating the rear trucks and part of the fuel tank. That would be from pickup of the town police officer. I knew as soon as I spotted one of the neighbors watching us from their screen door that we were getting called in, and soon enough, he pulled up. Was a nice younger officer, though, and after a 30 second chat we were back on the road home.

I didn't know they delivered sushi this late at night. Over on the left is one of my favorite ramen spots. Mita is bar on top of bar on top of pachinko on top of a bunch of ancient old snack shops and mysterious little clothing stores. The light emanating from everything at once, coupled with the rushing sound of pachinko makes for quite an intriguing atmosphere.
I cut out a little 70th style man (that was the goal anyway) and put him in a blue plastic box and shone a torch against it. Not quite the vision I had originally - I wanted a lonely looking man in a big space, but somehow it looks like a figure in the spot light, which is ok I guess.

“A blunderer is a man who starts a meat market during Lent."

This shot taken at the indoor meat market at Soulard Market in St. Louis, near downtown. He had a huge crowd of people and was quite the charismatic salesman.

Moody skies over Arches National Park ... a cool day for summer there in Moab. The hikers there at Turret Arch help to add scale. You can also just make out the South Window Arch there through the larger window there in Turret Arch.
Two guys where working in the small streets of Jerusalem and when they saw me they asked me to take a photo.
